Chambre : le matelas avec rigole au milieu, le bruit de soufflerie la nuit, l'impossibilité d'ouvrir la fenêtre la nuit car soufflerie aussi à l'extérieur, chien qui aboie,
Sdb : impossible d'ouvrir la fenêtre, les joints des carreaux et le dessous de la fenêtre noircis, la porte ne ferme pas, le wc broyeur faisant un bruit très important la nuit (je suis arrivée à minuit et j'ai dû gêner les voisins)
Pas de climatisation, un ventilateur posé sur un tabouret
Salle de restauration : pas de fenêtre, aucun produit local à part peut_être la viennoiserie et le pain

Initially a little hesitant the staff made the Hotel de la Paix a nice place to stay.
Pros:

The staff were absolutely fantastic - friendly and helpful. The hotel is not the prettiest in the world but it is homely and welcoming.

Cons:

The bathroom's are not so nice.

A marvellous breakfast and a lovely receptionist!!

The hotel met all my needs and it was great to be able too walk from there around the town
Pros:

The hotel had an excellent location, in the town centre.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and they allowed me to use my limited French language skills!
Parking was not hard to secure, either outside the hotel or in adjoining streets.
Breakfast was good value at 12 euros

Cons:

The bedroom was perfectly adequate in terms of size, view and facilities - with two exceptions.

First, the fridge was not clean inside and had a broken shelf
Second, the wash-hand basin had a crack in it and was a little insecure

I should say - neither of these issues would prevent me from booking at Hotel de La Paix again!

C'était un séjour agréable!
Pros:

The hotel was within a short walking distance of the train station (our means of travelling to Albert) and of the town centre. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast including fresh croissants and bread hit the spot.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind!

Traditional hotel, excellent location
Pros:

This is a very traditional hotel in a great location close to the centre of town which has many restaurants. There is parking outside and plenty round the corner. The staff were very friendly. The staircase is quite steep and I had a large room on the second floor with a coffee machine and a microwave. The room was fine but the bathroom was starting to show its age. The room also has a comfortable armchair. Breakfast was good, the standard croissant, bread , coffee and fruit juice. I would stay at this hotel again.

One of the worst hotels we have ever had the misfortune to stay at.

We arrived at 2pm to the hotel being locked up and no one there.
Tried calling the mobile number that was left on the door and it was an incorrect number! We went out for the day and came back at 1800hrs for it then to be open with 1 member of staff.
We didn’t like being lied to by staff. We were given a second floor room which was boiling hot, we had booked a room suitable for a dog and yet they gave us a room that would have been dangerous for us to open the windows as the dog could easily have jumped out the window from the second floor. The hotel was empty, we spotted one person only so there were plenty of rooms they could have given us.
We booked and paid for two night but after neither of us getting a sleep and our dog panting all night with the heat it would have been dangerous to have stayed another night. Explained to the staff the reason that we were leaving and whilst sympathetic, did not offer an alternative room. They told us the manager would refund us our second night which we thought was fair. When we returned home they then changed their mind and refused to refund us, stating booking term was non refundable. We knew this but didn’t expect a room which was high 30’oC through the night that we couldn’t open the windows in!!
Toilet looked like it had been there since the 1980’s and was in poor condition.Toilet seat was disgustingly!
Would not recommend staying here unless desperate.

Dirty bedding, poor decor, dreadful breakfast, not worth 2 euros never mind 12.
Signage to say no staff speak English, Staff total around 3, no effort to engage with customers, facilities poor, bar closed, pool room with no tips on cue’s, but by far the worst was Hotel dog deficating on stairs up to bedrooms, not seen by staff and only pointed out by myself, have stayed here twice before and has gone downhill drastically since last stay, assume change of ownership, without doubt worse hotel I have stayed in, in my memory. Overall appalling

This hotel provides good basic accommodation but a bit more attention to detail particularly in the bathroom is required. More restriction on smoking on the premises would be a good idea.

Hôtel ayant un bon emplacement avec un rapport qualité prix correct.

Bonne Facilité de stationnement gratuit.

Cons:

Suite à des problèmes de santé du responsable de l'établissement, le restaurant est fermé pour une durée indéterminée.
Toutefois, L'équipe en place est pleine de bonne volonté pour assurer les services de l'hôtel.

Pros:

Breakfast was great. Plenty to choose and on both days I stayed, I was thr only person at breakfast. Staff couldn't do enough for me.

Hotel has a secure area for motorcycles which is undercover 4 bikes under cover and more room not under cover, but secure.q

Cons:

The hotel was totally fine for my needs.
