Camera accogliente, in una cittadina in cui si respira l’Islanda più autentica. Possibilità di cenare al ristorante, dove super consigliata la torta al cioccolato.

Sehr schön für eine Übernachtung am Ende der Welt ;)
Pros:

Schöne Lage, ganz ruhig im Zentrum des Dorfes. Großes Zimmer,fast eine Wohnung, mit Eingangsbereich,Bad und extra Schlafzimmer.
Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Alles sauber. Frühstück gut!

Pros:

Grosszügiges neu renovierte Zimmer. Trotz Strasse sehr ruhig. Einfacher unkomplizierter Check-In. Das dazugehörende gemütlich eingerichtete Restaurant ist gleichzeitig auch die Stammkneipe der Einheimischen, was sehr bereichernd ist :-)

Cons:

Für die Zimmer im Obergeschoss führt eine enge kleine Treppe. Nicht praktisch mit Gepäck.

Gute Lage mit eingeschränkten Speisemöglichkeiten
Pros:

Tolle Lage, Zimmer funktional und sauber, bequeme Betten. Restaurant war geschlossen, das Café hat das Abendesseangebot mitübernommen. Angebot ist recht eingeschränkt und es sind sehr kleine Portionen, daher wirklich überteuert, leider nicht zu empfehlen. Im Ort ist das Restaurant leider ein Monopol. Frühstück ist hingegen in Ordnung. Zum übernachten klasse, Speisen empfehle ich unterwegs auf den Ausflügen einzunehmen.

Looks a bit run down compared to the pictures, but beds are comfy, breakfast was good and staff nice
Pros:

The beds were very comfortable and room was nice. Breakfast was good and the staff there were really quick to refill things and help you.

Cons:

Our room was quite a ways down the hall from the bathroom, not a big deal, only for night time calls. I also had asked them if they could reserve 2 seats at the popular restaurant with the Icelandic Feast in Isfyordur. Easier for the local guesthouse to phone as soon as the restaurant opened for the season, a month later. I said Id try if it was a problem. They were very polite, assuring me they could. A month later I checked and they'd done it, YAY. Luckily we checked in at the restaurant early the day before when we got there, because there was NO reservation! Fortunately he managed to squeeze us in! That dinner was the only reason we were spending 2 nights at the Fisherman.

Nice place to stay during the trip in the Westfjords
Pros:

Cute, cozy property in a small town. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Loved that there was a bathtub in our room - great way to relax after a long drive :)
