Pros:

Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr schön. Die Lage - nahe zum See und nahe zu vielen Restaurants- war toll und das Frühstück war grandios! Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Warm hospitality with a few baffling rules thrown in for character.
Pros:

This hotel ticks all the important boxes: a warm welcome, a clean room, reliable air con, and enough hot water to make you question your environmental credentials. Tucked away on a quiet side street, it offered a peaceful night's sleep, while the fantastic pizza provided an excellent excuse not to go anywhere else. Friendly, helpful staff and a family-friendly atmosphere make it a great choice for groups watching their budget.

Cons:

The hotel got plenty right: friendly staff, clean rooms and enough hot water to wash a bicycle. Sadly, that bicycle cost me €5 a night to store in the garden, where the gate was then left open for much of the evening, making security feel rather theoretical. As a cyclist setting off before 7am, I also discovered that a fully laid breakfast buffet remains a strictly decorative feature until the official opening time. Add €2 bottles of water during a 30-40°C heatwave, coupled with advice not to drink the tap water, and hydration started feeling like a premium add-on. The evening buffet was certainly plentiful, although by Italian standards the flavours seemed to have taken an early checkout. Still, if you're looking for quantity, comfort and a few stories to tell afterwards, you'll leave satisfied.

Ottima vacanza in famiglia
Pros:

La accoglienza è stata ottima, ci sono venuti incontro, perché siamo arrivati prima dell'orario del checkin e ci hanno fatto ingressare lo stesso, permettendoci di cambiarci e goderci la giornata al lago. La collazione è stata eccezionale: ricca e variegata! Lo staff è molto professionale e disponibile. Consiglio questo albergo, locato in centro di Colico. Ci torneremo!

Hotel Lago di Como freundlich, sauber und gute Lage
Pros:

Wir wurden freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Da wir das günstigste Zimmer hatten, war es natürlich preisentsprechend klein, ohne Ablegefläche - aber für eine Nacht i.O. Das Hotel liegt an zentraler Lage und zum Comersee nur ca. fünf Minuten. Das Frühstückbuffet war liebevoll angerichtet und es gab wirklich eine grosse Auswahl von süss bis salzig - ebenso Eierspeisen, Früchte, Antipasti, Kuchen etc.: für italienische Verhältnis sehr gut. Alle Mitarbeiter waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden das nächste Mal etwas mehr bezahlen und eine Klasse höher buchen. Sind jedoch sehr zufrieden und empfehlen dieses Hotel.

Cons:

Betten waren - für uns - zu hart. Zimmer 213 war sehr klein und man lebt aus dem Koffer.

Stary hotel zupełnie nie wart swojej ceny. Personel nie chcial nam dac kieliszków a takze nikt nie wymienił zepsutej lodówki. Dziwny zapach w pokoju na parterze.
