You want this, you deserve this. Nesebar is beautiful, but it is all cobblestone and noisy at night. This is *right* off the old town. Crazy quiet with stunning views. I am a solo traveler with a bad leg and having parking steps away and an elevator was crucial. Air conditioning worked great. I typically avoid full service, but the food was yummy and not having to search for someplace open was so nice. (You know if you've ever arrived exhausted on a Sunday in a small town at siesta time... There is nothing, and you are starving.) Staff are SO KIND. Petya really made my stay wonderful. ⭐

I LOVED the location that was right between the old town, new town and the beach. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was really nice and it had enough space for all our bathroom necessities. The food at the buffet was nice especially the carbonara. The makeup stand was very nice. I was pleased with the housekeeping. The free water and free drinks were nice

This was our first visit to Bulgaria and loved it. All the staff at the hotel and other places we visited were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean in all areas. We found the food on our All Inclusive deal to have a great variety and we never experienced the lack of temperature that some other reviewers mention. The desserts/sweet dishes in particular were excellent. We visited Nessebar Old Town on two evenings and highly recommend doing the short walk over the causeway to it. The buildings, roads, walls etc are striking. The views from the roof top pool area are superb back over the mainland and out over the Black Sea.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Hotel Marina Palace, Nessebar

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Marina Palace in Nessebar. The hotel’s location is fantastic, offering beautiful sea views and being within easy walking distance of the charming Old Town of Nessebar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with excellent housekeeping throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests, making us feel valued from the moment we arrived. A special mention to the lovely smiling receptionist, Kris at the rooftop bar, and George, a fabulous masseuse at the Spa, who all helped make our stay even more memorable.

The rooftop pool and terrace were a particular highlight, providing stunning panoramic views over the Black Sea and a perfect place to relax and unwind. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh food, and there were plenty of dining options nearby for lunch and dinner.

The overall atmosphere was relaxed, peaceful, and ideal for both couples and adult family members, looking for a comfortable base from which to explore the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hotel Marina Palace to anyone visiting Nessebar. We look forward to returning in the future.

Excellent Hotel with good facilities and great staff.

Overall incredible experience and really good value for money. Staff were all lovely and spoke great English. The variety of food was impressive and it was all really good quality bar a small few dishes we weren’t keen on. The room had just been refurbished and was spotless. It was made up daily with towels, drinking water and everything replenished. The view and rooftop pool is the best part. All inclusive drinks were good too - the beer and aperol or ‘summer spritz’ were spot on. We were also accommodated for on our last day whilst waiting for our flight, we still had access to the all inclusive food and drinks and could shower and leave our bags securely. Really impressed overall and would definitely recommend.

We just returned from the hotel and I have to say the staff are fantastic, especially Kris in the Skybar. The food is OK with a fair selection and the waiters/waitresses were very quick in clearing tables, the hotel is very clean and has some beautiful views.
The biggest downfall was our room 406, every other day we were woken up between 6.15-6.30am by what sounded like water coming the the aircon, I think it was caused by cleaning of the pool, after it happened twice we were moved to 412 and it was exactly the same in there, we lost half a day swapping rooms and in the end we had to tolerate it as didn't want to waste more time moving again. I looked back on reviews and noticed this was reported in August 2025 and it still hasn't been sorted.
Had we not have had this issue the hotel would of had top rating from me.
If I visited again I would insist on a 3rd or 2nd floor room.
Entertainment wasn't the best but highly recommended visiting the old town ( 15 minute walk).

Lovely adult only hotel, 15 minute walk to Old Town Nesebar. Good choice of food but needs to be kept on warmers as not always hot. Plenty of friendly staff at all times.

This hotel is clean and gives a fresh vibe.
The staff were amazing and we couldn't have asked for more.
The rooms were well looked after and a special shout out to Katerina who went above and beyond.
The gym was ok for a hotel, it had everything for a steady workout.
The pool area was lovely, we never struggled with the dreaded sunbed saga, always beds available.
The pool itself was best described as freezing, seriously the coldest pool I've ever been in.
Now for the bad points, the food was at best, very average. If you got warm food that was fully cooked, you were doing well. Most nights was pretty bad and we ended up eating out.
And the lifts!!! Pick a floor and see where you end up, Nessebar's magical tour of the hotel, via the lift.
I think if the food was improved, this would have got 5 stars from me.

Our 5th stay at this lovely hotel. It ticks all the boxes, location, excellent food, cleanliness and such happy friendly staff. Tatyana is still there with her amazing restaurant team who looked after us so well as returning guests. The rooms have been refurbished to a high standard.
It was our anniversary, we are Melia members and returning loyal guests but unfortunately did not qualify for a little upgrade. It would have truly made our trip exceptional. The hotel was very quiet as the season is just about starting so plenty of room in the restaurant and surrounding areas. A lovely time to stay before the hotel gets busy.
