Breakfast was excellent
Fabulous location, super friendly staff, free lager and the most sumptuous bed - pillows to float on.
Absolutely beautiful such a charming location. Rooms were so gorgeous! Very clean very considered beautifully decorated and cozy! Staff were really incredible so sweet and down to earth and very helpful. To be honest I cant wait to go back again soon.
I got the impression the ghost stories put a lot of people off and the staff were so sweet and were downplaying the stories of their spooky residents. But people interested in staying here need to understand this is a very old hotel in Cornwall!!! Myths and Legends are part of the DNA here ; just go with it enjoy it and leave the real world at home for a while.
We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel, the food was really good, and the location is outstanding it was a really lovely short break and I will be returning 😊
Design fantastico cibo ottimo
Un po' costoso
Location location location. Amazing place to say. Very comfy beds and nice decor
It is always a struggle to park when you get back to the hotel if you go out in the car during the day
Serious credit and high praise must go to whoever trains the young staff at the Wellington. All of them were polite, cheerful, mature with a great sense of customer service without being American. All the rooms seem different so it's difficult to generalise but ours was quirky in the roof. There was old-fashioned feel to the uneven sloped floors and the corners of the room that never approximated to a right angle. Despite that, the bathroom was clean and modern. The shower enclosure is small and it wasn't much power on the top floor, but it was adequate. Breakfasts were generous. Great location.
The coffee wasn't great, but if that's the worst thing I can think to say then you get an idea that we enjoyed our stay. The pub downstairs does live music. The sound carries. We were on the top floor so I imagine it might be a bit noisy if you were closer to the action. Not enough parking spaces but there's plenty of space to leave your car up the hill. The evening meals are best described as good value, not gourmet.
Lovely hotel very comfortable great location
The room was too hot even with a fan, however we were in a heatwave so I'm sure that was why. Very comfortable room very cosy we would stay again.
Room was lovely and spacious. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve experienced. Breakfast was tasty. Location fab
Didn’t manage to get a parking space but car park was only a 5 minute walk and only £7 for 24 hours
Amazing location. Inn the height of Summer and despite being full, Boscastle feels so peaceful. Staff were brilliant
L'ambiance rétro et chaleureuse, l'acceuil, Boscastle et la possibilité de se balader à pied directement depuis l'hôtel
Rien
Super location. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast choices. Parking in site or nearby in public parking if full. Often music on Friday nights. Nice toiletries and tea and coffee in room is excellent. Peaceful at last night. Nice slice of Cornwall
Rooms inevitably can get a little warm when the temperatures were 30oC plus which let’s be honest is rare in the UK.
Staff , food , drinks
Everything was great
A fantastic room in a lovely building with very friendly and helpful staff
Lovely room and good location.
The hotel was good but the food let the stay down.
Habitación amplia y confortable en la torre del hotel, bien orientada y luminosa , parking público cómodo, amplio y económico junto al hotel , entorno muy bonito en naturaleza.
Amabilidad responsable que nos recepcionó y nos atendió tb luego en pub.
Concierto Alive (two brothers) en patio entrada, gran idea.
Escalera angosta y empinada para subir trolleys al 2o. piso. Carta dinner podría completarse con algún snack o sándwich para cenas ligeras.
