As per Colombia's tax laws Foreign visitors and Colombian citizens currently living outside Colombia are tax-exempt (19% VAT) when receive a PIP3, PIP5, PIP6, PIP10, TP7, TP11 stamp or TP12 visa upon entry to the country. Exemption only applies to room package rates (accommodations plus service). Permit must be shown upon arrival. This tax is not automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation.
Reservations are paid in Colombian Pesos and final value depends on exchange rate. Payment can be settled in US Dollars, with exchange rate to be confirmed upon payment.

El servicio es excelente. El transporte desde y hacia el aeropuerto es muy conveniente. La comida es deliciosa y abundante en el desayuno. Te guardan las maletas luego de hacer el check out: una colaboración que valoro mucho.
Las instalaciones son excelentes. Descansas porque son insonorizadas las habitaciones. Cama y almohada riquísimas. Todo maravilloso. Siempre que puedo me alojo allí.

It was clean and with good furniture
There was no AC. It was centralized and at night they shut down the hotel AC. We couldn’t sleep as it was extremely hot. The security case wasn’t working. They tried to fix it but they couldn’t. And the worst part was that they charged us much more than the booking price. And the excuse was that they use another exchange rate. Not the oficial.

Justo él dia que llegamos hubo un problema con la turbiedad del agua, solicite ayuda en la recepción y nos supieron indicar que era debido a un cambio de tubería que estaba haciendo la ciudad, investigué en Internet y justo había sido unas horas antes, asi que no era problema del hotel, lo supe entender y esperé que pase, ya en un par de horas todo se solucionó, el personal fue muy amable al explicarnos y entendernos. Con todo lo sucedido si volvería a hospedarme ahí en una próxima ocasión.
The accommodations for us and our pets was excellent. The staff and the management was very helpful and accommodating. The Manager, in particular, was very communicative and helpful. I highly recommend Aloft Bogotá when traveling with family pets.
I cannot identify anything about Aloft Bogotá that I did not like.
