Pros:

Das Personal am Empfang war überaus freundlich beim Check-In.
Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig - sehr ähnlich dem Beispielbild. Das Bad hat eine geräumige Dusche und gut viel Bewegungsspiel vorm Spiegel
Das Frühstück war herausragend, eine sehr große Vielfalt und schwupp-die-wupp war alles gebrauchte Geschirr abgeräumt.

Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel

Cons:

Durch die vielen Überdächer war das Zimmer sehr dunkel. Viele Flecken im Teppich. Wasserflecke an der Decke welche einfach überpinselt würden. Restaurant hat den Charme einer 70ger Jahre Kantine

Unpleasant communist era throwback experience
Pros:

Hotel Špik is one half of a communist era hotel built in 1965; the more modern and comprehensively renovated and therefore more luxurious (4*) half is marketed under the Špik Alpine Resort brand. As expected from the pictures, the "retro" Hotel Špik features a 1960s/1970s "charm". The bathrooms appear to have been modernized, and the breakfast buffet (offered in a gigantic hall with the charm of a tax office) on lucky days features some pleasant surprises such as tasty ripe avocados, mint water, and rice waffles with chocolate coating. The swimming pool area has been tastefully renovated and is as large as a smaller municipal swimming pool complex. The spa receptionist also was the only really friendly employee we encountered at the hotel.

There were a few thoughtful details in the room such as really good fire escape instructions and a water tap in the shower that allows to fill also very large water bottles (as well as the trash bin as a makeshift fire fighting utensil); and the massage chairs spread throughout the building are a nice touch (€1/5min). The crumbled hotel stationary provided along the price list for damages to the room was a retro touch from a different era you may or may not enjoy. The beds were ok, too.

Cons:

Besides the outdated room design, we experienced various unexpected let-downs. We disliked the bad smell in our room's bathroom (a room scent would do wonders) and were disappointed that the sauna world wasn't more cosy - e.g., opening the dirty window curtains to allow the trees outside to be seen (like it was the case on the swimming pool side) and designing the area to suppress sound better would have made such a difference! It was extremely noisy with a cold artificial light. Also, they provide no shower gel and shampoo in the sauna world, suggesting that a lot of unwashed bodies mingle in the pools.

In the rooms, there are no "do not disturb" cards for the door; hence the cleaning lady (the icon on her storage room suggests that no male housekeeping staff is employed) stormed our room every morning at 8:25 am, even on the departure day (checkout is only at 11). As we requested to be kept alone to sleep some more, she never returned, leaving our room unmade for our entire stay. Another weird annoyance: only hand wash in the shower, no shampoo or conditioner was provided, although clearly an improvement over the sauna. And lest you bring your own, shower stalls also have no surface to put any shampoo bottle.

On our second day, the breakfast hall was operated by a particularly unpleasant crew; already when entering, they gave as stares as if they wanted to devour us alive. Instead of managing the breakfast buffet (for several stations, they hadn't bothered to put up signs explaining what the various white substances on offer were; an hour before the end of the buffet, they also had run out already of avocados, nuts, rice waffles, cheese, chocolate croissants, and fruit salad), they saved up their energy for the shouting match of five employees across the huge breakfast hall that we had the "joy" of enduring during the last 20 minutes of our breakfast.

Another issue was the fault of booking.

Pros:

Unkompliziert und Freundlich. Die Motorräder durften wir neben dem Eingangsbereich abstellen. Cooles Hallenbad

Cons:

Der Essbereich hat den selben Charm wie eine Flughafenterminal bei der Gepäckaufgabe. In den Badezimmer dürften mal neue Fugen gemacht werden.

Lijep hotel, dio u kojem smo bili vidi se da je stariji ,ali je sve ok uredno

Pa sad ispast će smiješno,ali svi programi su radili osim HTV a😂😂, mada nije nam to bilo presudno,samo ima ljudi koji će misliti da je namjerno, nama je bilo svejedno, jedan blagi prigovor,svjetla koja su kod kreveta supreblizu glave kod kreveta....to bi trebalo svakako premjestiti....

Im großen und ganzen ein schönes Hotel. Sehr gutes Essen sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendessen. Alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Wir waren leider im alten Teil des Hotels untergebracht. Ausblick leider keiner, da wir unten waren und nur auf ein schmutziges Dach geschaut haben.
Möbel teilweise sehr abgenutzt und meine Matratze war sehr stark durchgelegen. Ein großer Höhenunterschied zu der Matratze meines Mannes, da konnte man nicht auf die andere Seite Rollen.
Habe es beim ausschecken angebrochen, wollten sich darum kümmern.

Моє серце залишилось там! Мрію повернутись туди знов і знов.
Pros:

Архітектура готелю дивовижно вписується в навколишній пейзаж. Наша кімната була з видом на гору. Виглядала краще, ніж на фото. Територія комплексу чудово доглянута, З майданчиками для волейболу та бадмінтону, з лавочками та столиками. Можна сказати, з власною річкою:) Критий басейн з критою та відкритою терасами. Сніданки і вечері, враховуючи ціну на перебування, були просто чудовими. Безліч цікавих природних місць навкруги. Тут відчуваєш повне злиття з природою.

Все було просто чудово !
