The stay was comfortable. We were moved hotels to the Cargo o e in town and told we would get a suite. We got adjoining

We were moved hotels and asked to go to the cargo hotel in the centre of Dunkirk.
Nothing in particular that we liked the hotel was ok.

We were moved hotels and asked to go to the cargo hotel in the centre of Dunkirk. The street was very noise in the evening. I couldn’t open the window to cool down as it kept waking us up when motorcycles and cars with modded exhausts went passed.

Dieses Hotel hinterlässt bei uns einen tiefen und bleibenden Eindruck. Wir hatten das Glück, ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss direkt am See zu bewohnen - der morgendliche Ausblick war einfach traumhaft und unvergesslich. Eine ganz besondere Note gaben unserem Aufenthalt die dort stationierten französischen Soldaten. Ihre Präsenz im Hotel hat uns in keiner Weise gestört, sondern uns im Gegenteil ein sehr großes Gefühl von Schutz und Sicherheit vermittelt. Das gesamte Best Western Team du Lac Dunkerque war unglaublich herzlich. Das Angebot zum Abendessen ist sehr ansprechend; unsere Auswahl war sehr geschmackvoll, und das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Fazit: Das Hotel mit seinen Menschen, ein wunderbarer Ort mit ganz besonderen Erinnerungen, den wir jedem von Herzen empfehlen können! Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt nicht nur zum Erreichen der Fähre nach Dover, sondern auch für eine Besichtigung Dünkirchens und dem steten Innehalten und stillen Gedenken in Angesicht seiner Historie.
