A hidden gem
Pros:

It is well located and full of character. I stayed in PG room which was incredibly comfortable, clean, and felt very homey. There’s an honour system for the minibar, but this area had a communal feel which I loved. I had a shared living room, kitchenette and dining table. I was very sad to leave and go home.

Cons:

It wasn’t an issue for me but it’s worth nothing that there’s no elevator, and there are some staircases to navigate. The front of house kindly offered to carry any bags up to my room, in my case it wasn’t necessary.

Qurkky, unique, historic
Pros:

I absolutely adored this hotel. it was so cool. There was interesting art in every room. The food was delicious and the staff was so hopeful. Unfortunately, my wife had to return to the UK early, so we will be returning to Budapest as soon as we can and we hope that we can stay at Brody House again.

Cons:

Nothing personally but the property wouldn’t suit someone with walking difficulties.

Pros:

Great location with easy short walk to sites, and bus and metro links within 5 mins. The hotel is such a cool space, with artwork, spacious rooms and great furnishings. Room was super comfortable, high ceilings with huge windows, great shower and bath in the room. We were on a floor with just one other room, which meant there were shared spaces for a lounge and kitchenette facilities too. The restaurant onsite was great for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and really helpful. The whole stay was top notch and I am recommending Brody House to anyone planning a visit to Budapest.

Cons:

Only that the restaurant was closed on the day we left so we didn't get to try more food.

Uniek, mooi, vriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Personeel was heel vriendelijk.
Het ontbijt was heel lekker). House made granola!
De kamer uniek, heel mooi!
Faciliteiten ook goed.

Cons:

Geluidsoverlast van de buur die constant aan het hoesten was tijdens de nacht.
Op vrijdagavond een privé-evenement die ook na 23u30 bleef duren. (We werden hiervan wel verwittigd op voorhand)

More like an art gallery turned into a boutique hotel, Brody House is a unique place to stay. With high ceilinged spacious rooms, tasteful design, it is a must for those who look for something more than a regular hotel room. Downstairs is a high quality bar/restaurant that caters to a hipster crowd. The historic building is super cool…

Nothing. There are no elevators in the building so those who have mobility issues must beware.
