Location was close to an event we were going to, that was our reason for booking
Remote reception, no staff on site. Unaware of this till arrival and delay of 15 minutes gaining access to property.
Room was unclean highly marked/dirty carpet, facilities poor, 1 cup and room too hot, water scalding hot broken plug in bath.
Was notified day before our original deluxe room was unavailable due to a leak, we were still charged for a deluxe room even though we were put in a sub standard room.
To be fair we did sleep very well in room 25
We stayed here exactly 10yrs ago when the premises were in a lot better condition, then there were staff on premises with a bar, a lovely restaurant and clean rooms, in fact we asked to stay an extra night and they were booked up. However 10yrs later, no staff anywhere on site, no open bar or restaurant. They are there but not open. Room 25 was adequate only, everywhere looks like it isn't cared for and unloved. The shower head would not stay up so showering was difficult. Poor laminate flooring very gritty as though it hadn't been swept then washed/mopped
It was a decent room.
The internet was poor and the bed was a bit uncomfortable.
Rooms was spacious and comfortable
No staff. Took ages to get connected to someone to give us a code for a key.
Very close to the station and affordable
There was no reception staff to help.
Upgrade to a family room
Overheated. But notice in room said not to open the window.
Easy access, clean and presentable.
Beds, very poor mattresses
