A wondeful place in the midst of the New Forest.
Pros:

This is a great place! From the warm welcome when we arrived until we picked up our stored luggage to leave the Thatch Cottage was a wonderful. The staff is exceptional. The room was comfortable, spotless, and well-maintained throughout our stay. It was the perfect place to stay with our dog, as a the rooms' separate entrance allowed us to easily take him out for a walk The breakfast was very good. There was a great selection, and everything I had was well made. The Thatch Cottage truly is a gem. If you're considering a visit to the New Forest, I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Perfect place to stay for access to the new forest and great breakfast and cake at Esme’s tea room attached! Thankyou!
Pros:

The most perfect place to stay if you like being central in the forest. The thatched cottage is as beautiful outside as it is inside! The cake and breakfast are fantastic! Staff are accommodating and friendly.. We turned up early and they made sure our room was ready ASAP.

Cons:

One of the rare places that I have said to the staff that there wasn’t anything that I could fault!

Pros:

Great location lovely staff and delicious breakfast in charming set up.

Cons:

Sadly we were there in the heat wave in August and the room was very hot. There was one floor fan provided but the weather made the stay less pleasant than it would have been.

The warmest and most genuinely welcoming reception we have experienced anywhere. The hosts and every member of staff were absolutely incredible — friendly, attentive, professional and genuinely made us feel valued from the moment we arrived. The room was outstanding, beautifully presented, comfortable and full of character. In my opinion, this has to be one of the very best places to stay anywhere in the New Forest. The breakfast was exceptional too, with an incredibly high standard of food prepared by a top-quality kitchen team and chef. Every detail made this stay feel special.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing. If anything, our only disappointment was that we couldn’t stay longer!

A little paradise in the New Forest
Pros:

THis hotel is absolutely amazing. The rooms were cody, the bathroom new and everything worked so well. The stuff was so friendly and warm hearted. It felt like being with friends. It is an amazing place, which will celebrate its 400 years‘ birthday in 2027. We will definitionen back. Thanks for this lovely time. In the evening we also enjoyed the pub next door, which served wonderful food es well. It was a perfect stay.
