Great location and super friendly staff, but dinner was a major disappointment
Pros:

The hotel has an excellent location, right on the main street in the centre of Opatija and very close to the sea. The building has character, the room was spacious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Cons:

The parking area is located away from the hotel. Considering the central location and the historic nature of the building, this is understandable, although it does make arrival and departure somewhat inconvenient.

The main disappointment, however, was the half-board experience. I booked half-board mainly for convenience, but on the evening of our stay the hotel restaurant was not operating. We were instead directed to a neighbouring three-star hotel.

I did not expect fine dining, but I can honestly say that the selection and quality of the food were among the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. My advice to the hotel would be simple: when the hotel kitchen is not operating, half-board should not be offered.

Buona posizione , personale gentile e disponibile, pulito e la colazione super e abbondante !

Cons:

Il bagno pulito, ma purtroppo molto datato , il coperchio del water di legno e tutto rovinato non è molto carino e poi senza finestra . Queste le uniche note negative per me .

There was pre-arrival call from Oreol. I shared our preferences and also that we were going to celebrate an annivesary. When we arrived we were checked in at 10:00AM and a super tasty cake waited us in the room. Regardless that all staff was super friendly. Well above expectations!
On top of that - Pillows were very comfy.

Cons:

Almost nothing. Smell in the elevator, but maybe it was a special flower which i didn't like.
