Wir haben eine Radtour um das Markermeer gemacht mit Hotelübernachtungen. Davon war das Old Dutch Hotel in Volendam mit 250 Euro (inkl. Frühstück) das aller teuerste und auch schlechteste.
Das Service Personal war weit davon weg, dir das Gefühl zugeben, dass du herzlich willkommen bist, wie in allen anderen Hotels , in denen wir abgestiegen sind. Frühstück ging von 7:30 - 10:30Uhr. Um 10:00 Uhr, wurde um uns herum lautstark der Salon auf Tagesbetrieb umgebaut, nach dem Motto: Jetzt werdet mal langsam fertig.
Das Zimmer war soweit in Ordnung, was die Gestaltung anging. Unmittelbar unter den Bettlaken waren scheinbar Gummistecklaken, die dafür sorgten dass jede Bewegung Quietschgeräusche verursachte und dass man permanent schwitzte. Leute, das Badezimmer, der Hammer. Das war schon vor 50 Jahren nicht mehr modern. Eine Badewanne mit Duschkopf, aber keine Vorhänge oder Spritzwände. Entspannt duschen ohne Überflutung geht anders. Ein Spiegel der schon anfing zu erblinden.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick. Soweit ja ganz schön. Leider ging der Gastronomielärm bis 2:00 Uhr. Wer ballermannverwöhnt ist, kann damit vielleicht leben…oder ist‘s da noch leiser?
Ich schreibe eigentlich nie Rezessionen, aber in diesem Fall war es mir ein inneres Bedürfnis.

We sliepen aan de voor kant alleen raam kozijn er laag kinderen zouden er zo uit vallen en jammer dat ze bv geen hamburger of snitsel te eten hadden

Een heel aangenaam verblijf in een mooi verzorgd hotel in een prachtige omgeving.
Pros:

Prachtige locatie, heerlijke bedden en er was zeker voldoende keuze wat betreft het ontbijt. Het personeel was over het algemeen zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook kun je ter plaatse lekker dineren en is er een uitgebreide kaart.

Ausser Resraurant-Personal, Hotel gut.
Pros:

Sehr schöne Lage am Hafen. Parkplatz in der Nähe. Reinigungspersonal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Personal im Restaurant. Besteck teils schmutzig. Teller Schüsseln teils dreckig. Mangelhaftes auffüllen der Frühstücks-Optionen. Wir wollten Lunch essen. Es wurde unhöflich gesagt, die Küche schliesst in 30 Min. Anstatt eine Bestellung aufzunehmen, wurden Tische für das Dinner gedeckt… wir sind gegangen.
Besteck sollte nicht ohne Handschuhe eingepackt werden, was wir in den Mund nehmen
