Helt ok til at det er 3 stjernes hotell i Spania.
Pros:

Veldig fint basseng og uteområde.

Fantastisk utsikt mot bassengområdet og havet. Utmerket balkong i 7. etasje.

Hjelpsomt og vennlig personal både i resepsjon og ellers.

Cons:

Det fantes ikke håndduker til utlån ved hotellet, til bruk i basseng eller ellers. Ble derfor mye gåing for å finne nødvendige ting. Da vannmaskinen var ute av drift mesteparten av tiden, ble dette også vanskelig å få tak i.

Siste dagene startet det å dryppe fra taket ved airconditiotion. Store vanndammer på gulvet og konstant fukt i lufta. Så store gamle merket i flere deler av taket. Airconditioneren var ikke til stor hjelp uansett da det var vanskelig å få det mindre varmt på rommet. Selv med balkongdør helt igjen.

Ingen lys balkongen på kveldstid. Kun en av kveldene var lysene på hvor vi fikk mulighet å tilbringe tid der.

Frokosten hadde lite utvalg. Det manglet blandt annet smør og andre matvarer en kan forvente til et måltid. Lite frukt og grønnsaker. Dårlig utvalg av pålegg.

El solárium y la piscina, pequeña, pocas hamacas y muy concurrida, y el solárium sin hamacas porque estaban todas en la piscina, deberían tener en las dos partes.

Ons verblijf in Hotel Fontana Plaza was een enorme teleurstelling. We reisden met een baby en een jong kind en hadden op basis van de informatie op Booking.com een schone en veilige accommodatie verwacht. Helaas was dat absoluut niet het geval.
De eerste kamer rook sterk naar schimmel. Na onze klacht kregen we een andere kamer. In die tweede kamer troffen we een grote vliegende kakkerlak aan. De receptie vertelde ons dat dit "normaal" was en gaf ons vervolgens een derde kamer. Tot onze verbazing vonden we ook daar opnieuw een kakkerlak.
Dat wij in drie verschillende kamers ernstige hygiëneproblemen tegenkwamen, zegt genoeg over de staat van het hotel. We voelden ons niet veilig om hier met onze kinderen te verblijven en hebben daarom ons verblijf een dag eerder afgebroken.
Door het vervroegd vertrek moesten wij zelfs ons bootticket wijzigen, wat ons €219 extra heeft gekost.
De receptie was vriendelijk, maar alleen van kamer wisselen loste het probleem niet op. Een hotel waar schimmel en kakkerlakken voorkomen, kan ik niemand aanbevelen, zeker gezinnen met jonge kinderen niet.
Ik raad dit hotel absoluut af. Kies liever een ander hotel als je een schoon en zorgeloos verblijf wilt.

MALA EXPERIENCIA

La ubicación, en el centro de Torrevieja.

Cons:

El hotel en general. Tanto las zonas comunes como el vestíbulo, el comedor de desayuno y la habitación son totalmente impersonales y necesitado todo de una reforma y puesta al día. En la habitación el extractor del cuarto de baño media un ruido horrible, igual que el aire acondicionado que además enfriaba poco. Imposible dormir con él conectado por el ruido. En el baño no había colgadores para las toallas. En fin, un hotel de batalla para vacaciones en Torrevieja pero falto de todo confort. Afortunadamente estábamos de paso y solo estuvimos una noche.
