Pub con encanto y mucha hospitalidad
Pros:

Nos encantó el red lion y quedamos encantados con la amabilidad del personal. Dio la casualidad de llegar en domingo para visitar los estudios de Harry Potter en la última sesión (a 15 minutos en coche), por lo que aprovechamos para probar un magnífico Sunday Roast. La habitación familiar, muy limpia y bien decorada, la cama de matrimonio comodisima.
Para terminar, el desayuno por la mañana fue excelente con croissants recién hechos y muchas opciones de English breakfast. Nos quedamos con ganas de repetir en época invernal y ver las chimeneas encendidas.

Aunque las camas de los niños no eran las más cómodas, para una noche totalmente correctas

A little pricey, but very comfy. A bit of a treat.
Pros:

Really loved this place. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. There was free car parking, which was helpful. Maybe that's what bumped the price up a bit. Not sure. Everywhere was very clean. Interesting and smart decor. A mix of antiquated and hi-tech. The bed was super comfy. Great checkout at 12pm. The shower was amazing, very hi-tech as it told you how many gallons you used! There was separate shampoo, conditioner and bodywash, which were all great quality, even for curly hair. There was a minifridge, with a little bottle of fresh milk. Tea and coffee, was provided too. We were above the pub and the garden was outside our window so I thought it might be too noisy, but everything shut at midnight and we didn't hear a peep after that. Didn't hear anyone in other rooms or on the stairs, so that was wonderful. Breakfast was tasty and they had decaf coffee too. I had the shakshuka and my husband had the eggs florentine, and both were well presented and filling. It was a little on the pricey side for one night, but there were so many other places that were cheaper but nowhere near as nice looking or sounding on their reviews, so we are definitely glad we came. Would recommend as a treat.

Cons:

It wasn't very accessible because of all the stairs, so there were lots of different levels i the pub, the bar and going up to the accommodation. I wouldn't be able to bring my mum for a stay because of her rollator, I don't think. I didn't see a lift and forgot to ask. It was a bit too pricey for a one-night stay. Not sure if the price gets better if you book a longer stay.

Look for another venue in the area if you can.
Pros:

Not a lot tbh. Lots of smokers outside when eating. Very poor. Very expensive for what you received in return.

Cons:

Very tired looking. Shower leaked and sprayed water everywhere. Single beds seemed quite small.

I will be back!
Pros:

Conveniently located on the high street and very close to the train station. Free car park. Air con. Very comfortable bed. Free water provided plus tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Nicely decorated and staff were so polite, efficient and friendly

Cons:

The bathroom was a little small but had everything I needed. Clean with lovely towels and toiletries
