Disappointing
Pros:

The lovely staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bed was comfortable and large.

Cons:

This is more of a pub with rooms than a hotel.
In order to turn off the air con, I had to take the room card out of the key card energy switch and sit in the dark.
Holes in the carpet. Dirty windows. Low shower pressure.
There is no lift at this property.

Pros:

Wouldn’t normally have stayed in Hammersmith, but the location suited and am glad we chose the Brook Green Hotel. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly & courteous staff. Food for both nights was excellent, particularly the starters/small plates. The bar is a great room - high ceilings & a good atmosphere.
Only down side was our room was 3 floors up & no lift, but that’s a minor quibble. All in all a great stay. All the staff we encountered were excellent.

Home away from home in a London heatwave
Pros:

Loved this pub from the moment we arrived in the middle of a heatwave. Met by the lovely James who carried our very heavy bags up 5 flights of stairs to an air conditioned room, we stayed two nights. Located 5 min from train was convenient and plenty of options for eating out locally. Our breakfasts were included and huge. Sitting in the pub in the evening felt very easy and comfortable with TV on the sport-Wimbledon, World Cup soccer or Tour de France kept us up to date. The staff were great, addressed any requests for ice, milk etc but not intrusive. A very cute beer garden was outside but too hot for us to sit I . Prices were reasonable

Ideal base for London trip, a hotel with great character
Pros:

We had wanted to stay here for a while, and really glad we did. Its a beautiful old English pub, in a nice area (Brook Green is literally across the road). Beer garden is lovely and the cocktail bar looked amazing, even if it was hired out for a function on Sat night and we didnt get a chance to have a drink in it. Staff were friendly and helpful, taking in our bags several hours before check in to allow us to enjoy a few hrs in London. It is quite a noisy neighbourhood, with what seemed like a constant stream of emergency vehicle sirens sounding. Maybe it was just particularly lively that weekend. But worth bearing in mind if you value peace and quiet. There was a couple of minor issues with the room, but these didnt really impact our stay. We raised them when checking out so no need to mention here again. Im sure they will all be remedied. Overall, loved it and would stay there again

I love staying here. It works well for any West London work or visit.
Pros:

Great location and vibe and interiors. I like all the refurbished Young pub hotels I have been in so far.

Cons:

Be prepared to lug your luggage up the stairs - no lift. Suggest you pack in such a way that you leave heavy cases in storage downstairs and take a small bag up!
