Location was great for a stay at Kew and an easy trip into London. Free car park on site! A great hotel/pub with a real friendly atmosphere , good food and lovely welcoming staff
Nothing really the room was clean and comfy and had a good night’s sleep
It’s a lovely pub with amazing food and very well appointed rooms. However its shining star are the staff. I would single someone out, but genuinely everyone we met went above and beyond. Not just for us but we noticed the same treatment for other guests also.
It’s a very busy place with 30+ rooms, sometimes things run out or are not available, however, if this happens the staff compensate for it straight away.
Very friendly welcoming staff. The room was so nicely decorated, clean and all amenities required for a short stay plus more. The bed was also huge - it made us not want to leave the room for our plans in London! The parking was also very useful

Very convenient for visiting Kew Gardens and the basement car park is very useful. The receptionist was was very friendly and helpful.
The public areas are in need of redecoration. The carpet in our room (10) was threadbare in places and very marked. The bed headboards were greasy and the shower room was tatty (peeling paint, black mould on the tile grout and the toilet seat wasn’t fitted properly).
Overall experience was extremely good. Location, hotel, bedroom, and general welcome by all staff was great. Special mention for Alicja who was extremely attentive, friendly and who had a great sense of humour. No query or request was too much and she went beyond in her helpfulness.
Small point but would have preferred an option for brighter lighting in the bedroom.
All the staff made us feel welcome. The room was lovely and comfortable. Location was great for visiting Kew Gardens. Customer service was excellent and they helped by giving us a late check out.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome. The room was clean, comfortable & well equipped for our stay. Being able to park onsite was invaluable and we were also able to leave our car after checkout time.

Breakfast was good, all staff were lovely, very friendly and professional, we were also used a walk in shower room as requested so very happy that our needs were met
Unfortunately pillows were hard but that is a personal preference and the road very noisy but we were in London so expected
