Old pub with modern inn attached - the bar is nicely refurbished with a beer garden in back - the breakfast buffet was good - very good aircon - parking in rear easy and safe
Pet peeve in the UK is that all accommodations use heavy duvets that are not appropriate for summer weather, especially the summers they are having now! Had to run the ac just to keep from sweating under the covers.

Beautiful building inside and out. The room was modern but decor very tasteful and in keeping. The food was lovely too.
My room was lovely but I was glad I had earplugs to sleep with as the room was adjacent to the gate entrance to the car park. Having said that it wasn’t too noisy so not really a complaint.

Lighting in bedroom was AWFUL. Very difficult to do hair and make up. Mirror needs to have a light above it.
Communal areas very tired looking with walls and banisters very marked making it appear unclean (which was not the case)
Management very flexible when we sought to change booking.
The staff were really helpful, wheeled my suitcase across the cobbles to the Armoury building and held the many doors open for me as I use a walking stick
The room was huge, light and airy.
The shower was really good. Great pressure.
The bed was a huge double and very comfortable.
The settee was comfortable to watch the swivelled TV.
The evening meals we had were very good.
The pillows. Not sure of the content but felt like lego type blocks of foam. I did find one of the 4 was normal.
The water and milk were not replenished for the second day.
I loved the fact that the rooms were not above the pub but were in a separate annex. Also loved that there were plenty of rooms on the ground floor. Easy check in, clean comfortable room. Lovely breakfast, fast checkout
No hot water for a shower on the evening of check-in. Typical hotel lighting with no mirrors with sufficient lighting to apply make up.

Well kept place, friendly staff and comfortable room.
The room was quiet even though it looked out at the road. The housekeeping was good. Bed was comfortable however the comforter was way to heavy for the hot days we were there. Access to the restaurant was excellent and the food very good.
The room we stayed it was in desperate need of paint touch up or at least cleaning of the walls. Well both really. We were surprised at how bad the walls were, Katie and I joked about they should offer to anyone who can paint a free room in exchange for half day of painting! Also it was odd to us that just outside the restaurant there was trash laying about with no one picking it up. All up and down the main street really, seems trash pickup is an issue in Chertsey.

The staff were fantastic, the room was delightful with an incredibly comfortable bed. Lovely food served in the pub.
