We had an absolutely wonderful time at this hotel. The hospitality here is top-notch; we were assigned a dedicated butler who took excellent care of us, providing delightful tea service and fresh welcome fruits. On top of that, the views from the room are spectacular, offering a stunning panoramic view of the entire city.
One detail we deeply appreciated—which is quite rare in China—is that there was no wastebasket next to the toilet. When we checked with the staff, they kindly confirmed that it is perfectly fine to flush a reasonable amount of toilet paper down the toilet, which made our stay feel much more hygienic and comfortable.
As Marriott Platinum members, we were also highly impressed by the generous elite benefits and perks offered to us. The overall experience was flawless, and we would absolutely love to stay here again!

My family and I recently stayed at the hotel to celebrate a very personal milestone: my 600th night and achieving lifetime platinum status. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to mark the occasion.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. We had the pleasure of staying in the Caroline Astor Suite, and it was everything we could have hoped for — incredibly spacious, elegantly appointed, and that bed. As anyone who travels often knows, a good bed makes all the difference, and this one was exceptional. My wife, who has scoliosis and is very particular about mattresses, found it wonderfully comfortable, which truly set the tone for a relaxing stay. Waking up to the magnificent view from the room was just the icing on the cake.
What truly elevated our experience, however, were the people. A very special thank you to Chief Butler Faust, who took such genuine care of us throughout our visit. He attended to our every need with warmth and grace, and went out of his way to make our five-year-old daughter feel just as special — surprising her with activity books and a teddy bear. That little teddy has since become her constant companion, wherever we go.
We were originally booked for just one night, but our daughter loved it so much that we ended up extending for an extra evening. That decision was made easy thanks to the seamless assistance we received from Kiki at the Front Office, and Joe and Jason from the Concierge team, who were with us from start to finish with kindness and professionalism.
This was more than just a hotel stay — it was a beautiful memory for our family, made even brighter by Faust and his incredible team. We left with full hearts and are already looking forward to our next visit.
Booked a room to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. We received very personal and detail-minded experience from room decoration to service of cold drinks once we enter the room on a such a hot day. We are exceptionally delighted to be served by Mr Jack Xiong as our personal butler who strives for excellency. Would recommend this hotel to everyone who wishes to have a pleasant vacation. :)
It was our anniversary, and I also brought my mum to celebrate Mother’s Day since I had just returned from London. Although the hotel was built many decades ago, FAUST somehow enhanced our experience. We felt it was truly beyond our expectations and surprisingly personal — a quality that many 5-star hotels lack. We will remember this trip not only for our celebration, but also because FAUST played a big part in turning what would have been a 3.5-star experience into a memorable 5-star one.

Before our arrival, Chief Butler Faust went above and beyond to help coordinate the arrangements for this special occasion. His professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine hospitality made us feel welcomed long before we arrived at the hotel.
Upon arrival, we were delighted to find a beautifully prepared anniversary setup in the room. The decorations were elegant, warm, and thoughtfully arranged, creating a wonderful atmosphere for the celebration. It was clear that a great deal of care had gone into every detail.
We would especially like to recognize Butler Alice, who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. From the moment we checked in until our departure, she consistently demonstrated outstanding attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism. She anticipated our needs, followed up on every request promptly, and made sure that both our parents and the rest of our family felt comfortable and well cared for. Her genuine warmth and dedication truly made a difference and transformed a great stay into an unforgettable one.
We would also like to thank Cora for her assistance and support during our visit. The entire team worked together seamlessly to ensure that our family celebration was a success.
One aspect that particularly impressed us was the hotel’s unique Happy Hour offering. Unlike many St. Regis properties, which typically do not have an executive lounge, The St. Regis Shenzhen provides a special Happy Hour experience that adds tremendous value to the stay. It was a wonderful opportunity to relax, enjoy quality beverages and food, and spend more time together as a family while taking in the sophisticated atmosphere of the hotel.

St Regis Shenzhen has set a golden standard of service excellence. At check-in, Livia Li has welcome us and has shown a very capable positive service attitude. At breakfast, Vanessa Xiao has been outstanding to make our meal a very pleasant experience. In the room, aside from the luxury, the Philips air cleaner is a valuable addition to make the air fresh and crispy. The hotel made a great first impression with its magnificent lobby and stunning panoramic views over Shenzhen. The service was excellent from check-in to departure, with every team member being professional and attentive. A special mention goes to Michael at the reception, who kindly helped organize a birthday cake for my girlfriend’s birthday, making our stay even more memorable. The breakfast was also outstanding, offering a wide variety of high-quality options to suit all tastes.
The swimming pool is beautiful and certainly one of the highlights of the hotel. However, it is not usable unless you have a swimming cap, which is not provided complimentary (although one can be purchased on-site). The reception team explained that this is due to a hygiene regulation. While this may not be an issue for local guests or regular swimmers, I believe it can be a significant drawback for many international travelers. A hotel pool should be a place for relaxation, and guests should ideally have the choice.
We also had dinner at the Italian restaurant, which was charming and offered a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, two or three dishes we wanted to order were unavailable. That said, the staff handled the situation very well and kindly offered us a complimentary welcome mocktail, which was greatly appreciated.

My brother and I recently stayed at the St. Regis Shenzhen and had a very enjoyable experience overall.
The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, and lives up to the high standards you'd expect from St. Regis. The lobby, located on the 96th floor, is truly impressive and offers amazing views. Despite the height of the building, the elevators were fast and efficient, making it easy to get around.
One small suggestion would be to add a few chairs or seating areas on the ground floor. Since the main lobby is not located at street level, it would be helpful for guests waiting for taxis, ride-hailing services, or drivers to have a comfortable place to sit.
A special thank you to Dylan (I hope I remembered his name correctly), who went above and beyond to help us find halal food options during our stay. His efforts and willingness to assist were genuinely appreciated and made a big difference to our experience.
The butler service was excellent, as always at St. Regis—responsive, professional, and very quick whenever we needed assistance.
The facilities were also very well maintained. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool on the 75th floor, which was a highlight of our stay. The location is another strong point, with direct access to a shopping mall and several other malls within walking distance, making it very convenient for dining and shopping.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the St. Regis Shenzhen and would be happy to stay there again in the future.
I travel a LOT. I stay in LOTS of hotels. I thought I’ve stayed in some amazing hotels. But, I’ve never been to St Regis in Shenzhen. What service! Amazing room with OUTSTANDING views of Shenzhen from the 84th floor. Was fortunate to be there for the ceremony to celebrate the sunset.
And Alice, the butler. I never felt so genuinely cared for in any hospitality environment. Her attention is what made this hotel put other hotels I’ve stayed at to a lower tier.

Wow! What a first impression. When I arrived at the hotel lobby on the 96th floor, I was greeted by Faust and his team. I arrived just before 6:30pm, where I was able to watch the champagne sabering. Seeing my interest, Faust then asked if I wanted to do it for the next day, and of course I accepted. The next day, I did the sabering ritual at 6:30pm with Faust, Andy, and the team. It went well! And, they gave me the cork and tip of the champagne bottle packaged in a bottle along with an additional souvenir of the occasion.
As for the corner room we were upgraded to on the 77th floor, it had sweeping views on all sides, with gorgeous sunsets on both nights. Compared to the newly built and recently renovated hotels, the room is a little bit older, but retains its character and elegance through its timeless interior. The hotel's breakfast is on the 95th floor and contains a wide variety of Chinese, Western, and even Indian options. Every staff member was super proactive in helping with bags, helping direct the elevators, and even helping us accommodate an packaged breakfast for an early morning departure.
I've stayed at other luxury hotel chains (e.g. FS, Conrad, Ritz) and the welcome and attentiveness at St. Regis Shenzhen has easily surpassed all of them. We would definitely be back.
Me and my girlfriend travel from Japan to Hk then Shenzhen ready to go peking and the experience In here is wonderful , my girlfriend is kind picky but she really satisfy and surprise the service such as really good and professional , especially Faust and front desk lady and man wearing the glasses, they are really warm and welcome , my girlfriend told me some time she feel is better and more true heart than Japan ! So we are really thanks for the experience you guys created for us !
The E-Butler service is iconic. It really made this stay quite memorable and especially the gorgeous city views.

Recently, I chose St. Regis Shenzhen for my stay. I stayed with them for twice. I experienced their St. Regis Suite and Caroline Suite. Each time I receive such thoughtful service, I want to come again and again. Their hotel opened in 2011 and is the first St. Regis in Shenzhen. It's located in the Jingji Building, which was once the tallest building in Shenzhen. Their rooms is from the 76th floor to 90th floor. You can scan the beautiful view of Hong Kong or Shenzhen. Their staff are professional and careful. I experienced the in-room dinning and enjoyed the delicious food from their Italian restaurant. Indeed, I experienced the newly-opened St Regis Shenzhen Bao'an, unfortunately, I'm disappointed with them and I prefer St. Regis Shenzhen.
