Comfortable and cosy.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly, couldn't help enough. The rooms were small but clean and they have used the space well as there was everything you could need. We found the bed comfy but pillows too soft but that's personal preference. We attended when weather hit 28 degrees plus, they do provide industrial fans but we found it difficult to sleep with the noise.

Cons:

It should be advertised as continental breakfast included as we had assumed breakfast meant a cooked meal, you can upgrade but we choose not to.

Good value stay overall
Pros:

Location was good. Food (simple snack) also good as was the breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Price very fair for the location

Cons:

Ridiculously hot on the night we stopped and ventilation in room in main building not great - fan was provided but had broken legs do not ideal.
External building rooms looked good - but ours in the main building a little bit dated

Pros:

Accommodation relaxing and very comfortable. Fabulous bed bathroom shower Location was beautiful

Cons:

Mondays pies were mash not pastry which we would expect from a pie. The fish pie was not available and it wasn’t busy. Service charge an unnecessary extra

Pros:

Stayed just the one night for a trip to Clarkeson’s pub. Lovely old pub, room great, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast, staff friendly. Highly recommend and would return.
