A good-value stay
Pros:

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the parking—conveniently located behind the hotel—was a real bonus. The team was friendly, and overall it offered very good value for money

The lift was marked as out of service—though I did notice staff using it. Not a major issue for most, but it could be a real inconvenience for guests with limited mobility or anyone carrying heavy luggage.

Unplanned stay.....
Pros:

I needed somewhere to stay at short notice for 3 nights. This was basic but ok considering what I paid. The staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Cons:

The fact the lift was out of order.

Pros:

Cheap and reasonable location

Cons:

Very run down and old tatty but clean and functional. Lift has been broken since we stayed there last September. Mattresses are uncomfortable as springs stick through the fabric.

Nothing worked. The TV would not change channels had to go and get new batteries for the remote and it still didn’t work
