Insgesamt sehr schön und ich würde wieder dorthin gehen.
Pros:

Das Continental Frühstück war sehr einfach. Die Auswahl an gekochtem Frühstück war aber sehr gut, für die die das mögen.

Cons:

Das continental Frühstück hätte etwas besser sein können als einfach ein Croissant und Kaffee. Immerhin konnte ich noch ein Toast dazu bestellen.

Best gluten free fish and chips!
Pros:

Had a meal here with friends, the gluten free fish and chips were amazing! Toby who looked after us was amazing and attentive. Seemed very busy but the staff were all great! We will be back!

Fantastic, comfortable stay. A/C was a godsend. Staff were absolutely superb, without exception.
Pros:

Staff, comfortable bed, outside space, roast dinner.

Cons:

Not enough space next to sink to place toiletries. Need big mirror at dressing table.

Pros:

Comfortable and quiet room. Comfortable bed. Great breakfasts!

Cons:

A ton of stairs with no elevator. Had to carry suitcases up and down steep stairs. They say they will help with suitcases but the staff member did not show up so we did it ourselves.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war gut, sauber und stylish, ebenso das Bad. Das Nachtessen war wirklich gut und Abends war auch die Bedienung aufmerksam.

Cons:

Das warme Frühstück war sehr gut, das Buffet wäre ok gewesen, wurde aber nicht nachgefüllt. Die Bedienung am Morgen war etwas lässig und nicht sehr aufmerksam und alles andere als schnell.

Lovely Hotel
Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everyone very friendly. Everything under one roof. The pub and lovely restaurant. Thought it could be noisy, but it wasn't. Had an extremely restful night. Only one minor problem as the AC was a little noisy. I wanted to open the window, but I was unable to do so.
I would definitely stay there again.

Cons:

I was not keen on the AC as it was a little noisy.

Pros:

Location was very good. Very central. Bedding was comfy and room had everything you needed. Fun decor as well.

Cons:

There was numerous hairs around the bath and taps and radiator in bathroom were loose. Carpets were also a little stained. Noise in morning from I assume barrels made for several wake ups

Very pleasant stay.
Pros:

Small and beautiful hotel few minutes away from the magnificent Cathedral and from a convenient car park. Nice and helpful Staff. The room was silent and comfortable, coffee and tee available. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel. There is a nice garden and a beautiful pub area. No lift, as often in England!:)

Hidden gem
Pros:

It was a lovely to see the hotel was as good as the facebook pictures suggested. A mixture of old comfort nostalgia with modern conservatory & out door area. Some of us were in 2 rooms on the top floor which would be a problem for some as there's no lift, but we managed ok. Other person on 2nd floor in bigger room. The air-conditioning is spot on, like a fridge when we walked in on a hot day & soon got warmer when we adjusted it. Modern, clean bathroom with good shower pressure . There was no noise eventhough the cathedral & high street are a short 5 min walk. Porridge with oatmilk/toasted almonds/berry jam was very nice. We would definitely recommend.

A Boutique Hotel Gem
Pros:

This is a little gem. Rooms were quiet and charming and individual with a really well stocked mini bar and complementary port and flapjack! We didn't eat dinner here but the menu looked very nice, and we would eat in the restaurant if we stayed here again. Breakfast was very tasty with a freshly cooked hot menu or the usual table of cereal, pastries, yogurt. All the staff we met were very friendly and attentive. There is no car park and I didn't fancy the multi-storeys, though they are probably fine. I booked a space at Toppers car park on Richmond Road, via JustPark, which was a 5 minute walk away. I didn't see a lift so if that's important to you, there are three flights of stairs to the top rooms.

The up keep of the period building was to a high standard. Having breakfast in the lovely conservatory was a great start to the day. Staff were very friendly & helpful.
