Our stay at this hotel was outstanding! The facilities and customer service are superb.
The staff are fantastic and make you feel really welcome, there is nothing too much trouble.

Rooms a little dark
Breakfast was fantastic. Probably the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. Great continental selection and some top quality work from the breakfast chef! Bravo! Everything cooked to perfection and served with a smile by our very nice waitress.
The hotel itself was spotless. The rooms very spacious and huge comfortable bed. Shower was also very clean and very nice. Free and decent WiFi and a very short walk from nearby stations and bus stops. We will be back !
We wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed an evening meal as they looked brilliant too.

Really bad smell in our room - damp and musty and also the rubber seal on bottom of shower door wasn’t attached - thus bathroom floor flooded if taking a shower…
We asked to be moved to another room but they were fully booked - they gave us a Febreze air spray to use.
Opened window to help with smell but then flies came in and it was ground floor - there was a man’s feet about 2 ft away from our window. Didn’t feel very safe.

A quaint English hotel with modernised rooms that were extremely comfortable. The hotel offers an excellent restaurant and one of the nicest outdoor garden dining facilities we’ve encountered. An added attraction was the proximity to the Carshalton ponds and parks. We were able to enjoy meals while watching the bird life on the ponds. An added bonus was being on the main bus line between Heathrow and Croydon.

Very comfy room, clean, nice shower. Lovely breakfast in the morning. No fuss at check in and when we found a cot instead of a pull-out bed they were very quick to fix it. Staff was friendly overall and nice to the kids. There is also a lovely little ecological park across the hotel that was really enjoyable for a little morning wander.
Very minor things: The reception didn't seem to have a bell or a way to call, so I did have to hunt for someone to check out. And the road right by the hotel is not the easiest to cross.

We were there for a wedding reception. The food was superb. The chef joined us for a friendly chat and a mingle. What a lovely chap!
We had a relaxing drink in the bar after our arrival and were impressed with the vibe of the place.
