No hay aire acondicionado. Si por casualidad tienes calor hay que abrir la ventana. Tienes 2 opciones o pasas calor o escuchas ruido de fuera

It was one of the most horrific rooms I have ever stayed in.

The hotel backs onto a shipping yard. NO parking. The room was the size of our bathroom. It was extremely small and barely fit a double bed. The bathroom was smaller than our pantry. For two people with luggage you could not move around the room or enjoy it. The room has quirky signs making light of the size and telling you to go and enjoy the bar. At the prices of their drinks I can understand why. The room faced the street and was exposed to the sun all afternoon. The room heated up and it only has one window that did not provide proper ventilation. The heat added to the frustration of the room being so small. This room was not cheap and I feel like I have been swindled. Any one I speak to about their travel plans to Reykjavik will be warned to avoid this hotel at all costs.

Good location, great breakfast - small rooms
Pros:

The staff were extremely helpful and were able to provide an upgrade to a bigger room. The location is excellent by the Marina and a short walking distance from the city centre. The breakfast was very good.

Cons:

Always book a superior room or one with a sea view. As the rooms facing the road are small - just large enough for a double bed. So we upgraded to a 4th floor room on the marina side - which cost and extra £25 per night - but at least had more space and a balcony.

Die Lage des Hotels direkt am Hafen ist super. Viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Innenstadt sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar.
Frühstück mit guter Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken.

Cons:

Auf meine Anfrage, ob An-und Abfahrt am Marathon- Samstag problemlos möglich ist oder das Hotel sich in der Sperrzone befindet, wurde uns vom Hotel mitgeteilt, dass wir jederzeit an- und abreisen können. Das das nicht stimmt, erfuhren wir erst nach dem Einchecken und hatten dann einen sehr großen Aufwand, das Auto weit vom Hotel zu parken und das Gepäck hin- und her zu tragen. Schade, dass es keinen Hinweis vom Hotel auf die Veranstaltung gab, hätte uns sehr viel Ärger erspart.

Good location - large room
Pros:

It was listed as sea view when I reserved and as harbor view later. Either way it was really just a view of a very large older ship. My husband liked it. I was not a huge fan so it just depends on what you are hoping to view each morning 😆

Cons:

It was a very convenient location and pretty quiet considering.
