Overall our stay was fine. Very convenient to downtown Reykjavik.
Cons:

We reserved a family suite and the room was very small for 4 people. The room had 4 beds but 2 were bunk beds which we were not expecting.

We enjoyed our four day stay!
Pros:

Hotel with unique features located adjacent to the marina and walkable to city center. Great breakfast and welcoming stay. Close to very good restaurants. Lobby and lobby library are perfect for large group gatherings or you can find a quiet corner for two.

Wonderful hotel located in an ideal spot to explore Reykjavik and Iceland
Pros:

The room was an excellent space, the hotel is really well located with easy walking access to loads of food and drink options, and the view into the marina was great - really liked seeing the working port.

Cons:

The "wet room" aspect of the bathroom needs a little work to improve the drainage and ideally a weighted shower curtain so it doesn't flop around. The open-ended covers on the pillow and duvet are also a bit uncomfortable and would be better if they were fold-over. But these minor issues really didn't detract from the overall quality of the stay.

Wonderful location & art
Pros:

We loved the location near the old harbor! The reception desk staff was very kind and helpful. Food was pretty good, but our favorite part was the art throughout the hotel building. A lovely library, too!

Pros:

Loved all the different areas. Really classy.

Cons:

The staff said we got «a free upgrade», but I’ve paid for the room that we got.
