Deberían cuidar más al turismo de casa
Pros:

Lovely hotel but shame about some rowdy guests.
Pros:

We absolutely love RIU Palace hotels but just couldn't quite stretch to the Meloneras RIU Palace this year. The RIU Palace Palmeras is a much smaller and an All-Inclusive hotel in Playa Del Ingles which has some very lively nightlife at the Yumbo centre. You'll find some great bars, perfume and clothing stores.

The grounds of the Palmeras are beautiful and our smallish but spotlessly clean room on the 7th floor, had stunning views across the sand dunes and ocean. There are 2 pools and I believe one is more for families and those who love water polo although being in our late 50s, hubby and I spent our time in the other pool. It's just my view but I'd really like there to be an Adults-only pool where no ball games are allowed and those of us that work can get some much-needed rest (so sorry, this isn't meant to sound grumpy- I'm just expressing my personal preference). I do think the difference between the pools should be made much clearer. The All-inclusive drinks included branded spirits and soft drinks and the cocktails were lovely. Food on the second week was really good and the Afternoon Tea of sandwiches and sweet treats at the snack bar was such a lovely touch (but if you want a burger, fries, chicken nuggets or salad it's all there too). Now for the not to nice aspects: as a British nurse, I found it dreadful that a British family of 7 thought it was okay to take the sunbed of a very disabled man and his parents who when questioned why were met with the most abhorrent and disgusting behaviour of the British mum who was 'defending' her 3 teenagers. It seemed they hadn't been honest at what they'd done and rather than owning it, wound up their mother who was simply dreadful to the poor family. Why are people so unkind! No one asks to be disabled and my husband felt so cross he felt compelled to intervene. Another example was another British family of 3 sitting around the noisier pool drinking from when the bar opened at 10am until bedtime. Come on now- you're letting us down. We all want a lovely holiday but not at the expense of drunken idiots who think it's okay to be rude to the hard-working RIU staff. We felt so sorry for the lifeguard who was trying to maintain safety standards in the main pool only to get shouted out and threatened (you guessed it- another drunken Brit). Despite this small number of incidents it didn't spoil our wonderful break. However, RIU staff really try their upmost to make everyone happy and as a Brit I did feel some folk let us down. Special thanks to Juan in the bar and Fonqui in the dining room: you were stand-out above and beyond stars who made our holiday special.

I do not recommend.
Pros:

The main pool was a good size. The room fridge was usually restocked with drinks every couple of days. Good cleanliness.

Cons:

I don’t usually write negative reviews but I was very disappointed with my stay here that I have to share my feedback.

The food was adequate, but not a highlight of the hotel. There was limited variety, with many dishes being repeated throughout the stay. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on the food alone, as several evenings it felt difficult to find something enjoyable.

My biggest concern was the lack of attention to guest safety. On one morning, the reception, lobby and route to the restaurant were being mopped. Although a wet floor sign was outside, it wasn’t positioned in front of the doors where guests walked from inside to outside. The signs were also moved around as cleaning progressed, meaning there wasn’t always warning.

There was another incident whilst walking down the outdoor steps, I nearly slipped because there were puddles of water. Then a few moments later a hose on the top floor was switched on and began spraying water down the staircase without any warning signs in place. I reported this to reception, who said they would address it. A wet floor sign was placed on the ground floor, but none were positioned on the upper floors where people were approaching the stairs. Later, another person in my group experienced the same issue.

The evening entertainment was disappointing and lacked variety. During the day there was no entertainment. No table tennis, pool table, music, organised activities or other facilities commonly seen at all-inclusive hotels. Apart from the evening singers, which often felt more like karaoke than professional entertainment, there was very little to do within the hotel.

The hotel also didn’t appear to manage sunbed reservations. Many beds were claimed late at night or very early in the morning but would not always be used.

Drink service was inconsistent. In both the restaurant and one of the bars, drinks were table service only.

Nice Hotel, shame about the food!
Pros:

Nice hotel with fabulous views from the top floor (7). The branded drinks are great! However, the rooms are small, the service is a bit hit & miss and unfortunately, the food is only average. We will go back to our favorite Hotel RIU Palace Meloneras, next year & pay for our drinks!

Excellent hotel, staff could not do enough for you.
Pros:

Wonderful stay, relaxing time.staff work hard to look after everyone.always cheerful what ever the time of day.this was a return visit to this hotel.we stayed last September and was so empressed that we book again for June. The food was good quality, plenty of choice, drinks were branded drinks so nice to drink.good choice of non alcoholic beers and cocktails. The main bar showed the football matches as it was World Cup while staying out there, but if you did not want to sit and watch football you had the entertainment area with waiting bar staff.as already said the staff work so hard to please there guests room and hotel was spotless clean.rooms comfortable clean bedding and towels every few days.mini bar restocked with water beers and fizzy drinks every 2 days. Would recommend the hotel.

Very Enjoyable Stay
Pros:

On arrival and throughout our stay the staff we all very friendly and very helpful. The Hotel was great in all aspects, the food was really tasty and had plenty of choice, and the desserts were very Moorish. There were two large pools, we chose the smaller one which was a bit quieter as it was not right by the pool bar. We had some complimentary cava and chocolates left in our room as it was my birthday, nice surprise. The room was a sea view and it was very clean and the mini bar was topped up regularly.
It was a short walk down to the sea front with lots of shops and places to eat.

Better last year but still nice
Pros:

This is our second time here, and it was a totally different experience.

Firstly the hotel is spotless and the staff are so polite and helpful.

The rooms are always cleaned to an immaculate standard.

The food is also fantastic, I’m vegetarian and they always had options for me, I think they could do with just a vegetarian area which they sometimes had but then some days mixed it with meat meals which was a bit confusing.

You now seem to be able to book your sunbeds by using a disabled sticker, so you can imagine what happened everyone started saying they had disabilities and booked the best sunbeds near the pool, maybe have a designated area for disabled people near the toilets instead of letting people just book the pool area.

Also when we was there last year they seemed to promote a quite chilled out environment no balls in the pool and no inflatables etc. well this didn’t happen to the point you couldn’t go in the pools as people were just in groups playing with balls and you couldn’t get past them.

Also we noticed people with flasks taking them to the bar which the staff gave them the alcohol and let them free pour the drink in so you can imagine what situations that caused.

We have booked again for next year and I’m hoping these issues are resolved if they want to promote this hotel as a classy quiet environment it needs looking at.

Very relaxing first class hotel
Pros:

Wow! we loved this hotel. Check in was very smooth and efficient, receptionists were great.
We had a room on the first floor right on the end which was very quiet (as requested).
Our room was large, spacious, very clean with a very comfortable large bed and a balcony. The bathroom had his and hers sinks and a very large shower.
The food was varied with so many choices and plenty on offer. There was always several options of meat and fish. We were very happy with the food and the table service.
The waiters were very polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
We will definitely stay at another Riu hotel because everything was as expected and we had no complaints.

A perfect stay with my family
Pros:

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riu Palace Las Palmeras with our family. Everything was perfect from start to finish: the warm atmosphere, the kindness and professionalism of the staff, the delicious food, and the amazing location just steps away from the beach. The hotel offers the perfect combination of comfort, relaxation, and family-friendly service.

A very special thank you to Francastro and the restaurant team, especially Vanessa and Luciano, who were truly amazing with our children. Their kindness, attention, and smiles made our meals even more enjoyable and created beautiful memories for our family. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful family holiday experience

Rime, Sami and Ghali.

Incredible.
Pros:

It was mine and my girlfriend’s first holiday together and it’s safe to say it was everything we could’ve asked for. Great location for the hotel as it’s only a short walk down to the beachfront but genuinely the hotel was perfect. Incredible selection of food on offer… made right in front of you as well and the staff were genuinely the best I’ve ever seen in any hotel from across the world. Highly recommend you visit this place and have the experience we had.

Adult only holiday
Pros:

We booked the Riu Palmaras to try and adult only experience. Some say it's too quiet around the pool area during the day but as an older couple we enjoyed a bit of relaxation without all the games. This hotel was smaller than other Riu hotels we have visited but still has same service level and wasn't as crowded in the restaurant at meal times. It was nice to see the manager around most days talking to guests. Also there is a live band or duo playing every evening. A good choice of drinks served at your table including well known labels. All in all a lovely holiday . We probably won't return because the location of the hotel isn't as nice as Meloneras but that's purely a personal choice.

We will be back…
Pros:

We are creatures of habit & have therefore used Riu hotels for years. We signed up to the loyalty system a while ago & consequently this was our first holiday with the Riu Gold Class status. The only disappointment with this was that the benefits include being able to specifically request specific rooms through the app. I requested a high floor & was disappointed to have been allocated a room on the 3rd floor of 7. That said it did allow us a complimentary extra 2 hours in the room for a late check out.

The hotel is in a fabulous location, the footprint of the hotel is that much smaller than the usual Riu hotels we go to, therefore the things we might usually expect (coffee shop, 4/5 specialty restaurants, more bars) wasn’t available. However, this didn’t affect the holiday at all. The usual entertainment team we would expect also wasn’t available & we did not miss this at all. What this resulted in was proper entertainment with singers. This also meant the whole day was uninterrupted by aqua aerobics/pool parties, etc.

We found the hotel incredibly relaxing, the gardens are very established & beautiful. There is no waiter service around the pool that you might expect with some Palace hotels, but the pool bar really is just a skip away.

There are the usual selfish people who think their pool towels is a mortgage deed, and are scurrying out at seven in the morning to secure ‘their’ sun beds, I do think more action should be taken to combat this. However, that said we usually found a sun bed after a mornings walk to the Dunes.

The food is good, with all buffets if you hit it wrong you might be a little disappointed at times but on the whole we always found something to eat. The breakfasts are great, delicious morning breads to choose from. The food at the pool bar was also good with cooked foods/fruits. In the evening there is also a buffet by the bar, we never ate from this but it looked good with a varied choice. The drinks selection is good but I found the cocktails far too sweet.

ALL staff were brilliant, attentive but unobtrusive, underrated stars of the show: housekeeping!

All in all a fabulous holiday & one of the few hotels we plan to specifically return to. We loved it, thank you!

Hotel solamente para el descanso.
Pros:

Habitaciones amplias , camas muy cómodas.

Cons:
