How to drive to accommodations by car:
On the highway E17/E40 direction “Gent” take the exit “Gent Centrum” (B401).
Follow “Alle Richtingen”, then turn left under the bridge and follow direction “Eeklo”.

This is the “Sint Lievenslaan”. Continue down this street “Charles de Kerkhovelaan, Godshuizenlaa, Marterlaarslaan, Einde Were” (1.6 mi).

At intersection “Einde Were - Nieuwewandeling” turn right, at the traffic lights (direction Centrum-Gevangenis).

You are now in the “Nieuwewandeling (N430)”, continue down this road to intersection “Brugsepoortstraat”. Turn right here.
Follow the road “Hoogstraat” until the end.

You will then arrive at “Poel”. Turn left, into the Drabstraat”

(!) Attention, you are now entering the car-free zone (!)

It is important to call the reception of the hotel to ask for an available parking space or pass along the license plate of the car.

Turn left, onto the “Jan Breydelstraat. Halfway down the street you will find the parking lot, on the left side.

Ενώ είναι πολύ κεντρικά είναι πολύ ήσυχο. Υπάρχουν γυρω τα πάντα. Το τραμ αν και δεν θα χρειαστεί είναι λιγοτερο απο 100 μετρα. Ολο το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευγενικό και φιλικό πρέπει να το επισημάνω!! Εχω δει διάφορα σε αλλα ξενοδοχεία. ΕΞΑΙΡΕΤΙΚΟ πρωινό. Παρα πολύ μεγάλη ποικιλία απο τυριά και αλλαντικά εως και σολομό.
Αυγα διάφορα κρουασάν και διάφορα ειδη ψωμιού και ολα εξαιρετικά και καθαρά!!

Ισος η χρέωση του παρκινγκ. Αλλα το γνωριζα απο την αρχη.

Lage und Ausstattung waren sehr gut, vom Frühstück waren wir nicht begeistert.
Pros:

Die Lage war sehr gut, das Zimmer war groß und hell und sehr angenehm, modern eingerichtet. Besonders erwähnt sind die drei Kopfkissen.🤩 Kaffee und Tee konnte man sich selber auf dem Zimmer zubereiten.

Cons:

Im Badezimmer war ein unangenehmer Toilettengeruch zu riechen.
Das Frühstück entsprach nicht den Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für 25 € pro Person kann man etwas umfassender Frühstück erwarten (z. B. es gab keine Butter).

Pros:

The hotel is in an outstanding location right at the very centre of the city, by the bridge that leads across to the Gravensteen Castle. Couldn't be in a better location. The hotel itself is also very smart, elegant.

Cons:

A bit of noise in the morning of creaky floorboards and slamming doors as people went for breakfast but its an old hotel so its to be expected. But slept well overnight.

The hotel was fine and the rooms were nice. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

I had free parking in my reservation. When I arrived, staff told me to park in a garage down the street from the hotel. I had to pay for the parking myself even though it was included in my reservation as free. That was a disappointment after a long days drive.

Centralissimo, in palazzo storico, personale disponibilissimo.
Pros:

Posizione centralissima vicino all'omonimo castello,, si raggiunge facilmente con ogni mezzo. Situato in un palazzo storico ha ambienti molto suggestivi e caratteristici. Camere comode e funzionali. Come d'uso in questi paesi manca il bidet nel bagno. Il personale è stato sempre molto gentile e disponibile a qualsiasi orario, anche di notte.
