Overall good.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. Room was decent and well kept, it had a nice vanilla smell. The view of the mountain and thredbo was good. The staff were great and offered us an upgrade when the heater and wifi didnt end up working. The location is excellent. It was relatively cheap during non peak season.

Cons:

It can be a bit noisy. The rooms are above a little pub and if other guests arent respectful you can hear loud voices etc up until 11pm sometimes later. The floorboards creak and there is no sound proofing against hearing people above you, as well as guests using the stairs and opening and closing doors. A loud noise scared the crap out of us at 3am and we suspect someone almost fell down the stairs, and we heard footsteps walking away. Depending on the season will depend on if you think this place is bang for your buck.

Loved it and highly recommend.
Pros:

The location, incredible staff (Joey, Tom, Ava, Goose, Sherry, Kate) views, live music, and the list just goes on. Could not speak highly enough of the amazing team that work here. You truly made our stay and we valued your insights. Our room was warm, clean and toasty.

Pros:

The location is good! It very close to the Village. Our room has the Best view of the mountain with the snow

Cons:

The only downside is the noise of the people going up and down the stairs plus the you can really hear the people talking so loud in the Bar

A tired dump in need of a refresh. Comfy beds. Terrible pillows with almost no loft.

Thredbo during the long weekend and bike fest made my stay too noisy and deprived me of sleep.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. The general character of the hotel was very pleasant and promising.

Cons:

It was too noisy. I could hear noises in adjacent rooms until 11 pm and from 5 am. The people concerned were not doing anything particularly inconsiderate; it's just that the walls are too thin. There was also noise from people on the terrace. On my second night, I slept in the nearby apartment of my brother and sister in law at Squatters Run to escape the noise and to get a decent night's sleep.

A very traditional European style alpine lodge at en excellent price
Pros:

I had two short stays and hence sampled 2 rooms. Both had a view, both had an unfashionable and very useful plentiful supply of cupboards and storage and both rooms were large and had a view. They were also very helpful in storing luggage and medicine in the fridge for me while I went hiking for the week. A great selection of German beer in the bar.

Cons:

It is old style traditional - which means lots of space but also narrow steep stairs if carrying large bags.

Enjoyed our stay but could have been better with a few tweaks.
Pros:

Location was good and so was the shower. Breakfast was great.

Cons:

Property is very dated and needs a lot of tlc. Floor boards very squeaky and the heater didn’t work in the main room.
