Always an Amazing Experience (This Time with Our Dog!)
Pros:

We stayed at Hotel Volney. It wasn't our first stay overall, but it was our first time traveling with our dog. The staff were incredibly kind, and the hotel was spotless. We had an amazing experience. Every time we return to Paris, we will definitely stay here again.

EXCELLENT HOTEL with an EXCELLENT STAFF
Pros:

Location is EXCELLENT - very near the Opera Garnier, mannnny place to dine and shop. Breakfast is wonderful and the staff is FANTASTIC !

Pros:

Excellent central location and great breakfast. Also, I arrived after a very long flight and was extended the courtesy of an early check-in. The place was quiet so I could relax and catch up on sleep. Thank you! The location is great just a couple of blocks from the Palais Garnier (Opera) and subway station. It is in a short side street, so it is a quiet area,

Cons:

The hall outside the room was quite dark. An automated light system would be more welcoming.

The location is amazing, near Opera and Lafayette! Breakfast was good also! It was quite clean and well maintained! Gordana the cleaning lady was super nice and friendly and Amin, the receptionist, was very polite.

Cons:

We asked politely for the room if we can get it a bit earlier than 14 o’clock, since we arrived very early. We also sent an email about it two months before our stay. But there were no intention from the hotel to do us a favour, they started cleaning our room 13.40, and gave us keys at 14 sharp. And the check out is obligated at 11 o’clock. So the first impression was not amazing. The lady at the reception could be more friendly.
Our room was next to the street at ground level, so you have to put on the curtains since people are passing by.

Good location but very small rooms and average cleanliness.
Pros:

The location of the hotel is very good. You can walk everywhere, and the metro and buses are also very close. It feels safe. The air conditioner works very well — it is quiet and powerful. Wifi is so good

Cons:

Unfortunately, the rooms are smaller than they look in the photos. We can’t fully open two suitcases, so the living space is very limited. Even the bathroom door is sliding to save space. When we arrived, the bathroom was a bit dirty and it did not seem to be fully cleaned.
