It was a little oasis in the middle of London. The minute I saw the whimsical elephant in the front courtyard I was sold. It’s in a great area which has so many historical buildings and little streets to get lost in. As well there are great coffee shops all over the place. It’s also not filled to the brim with tourists as it is a professional area full of lawyers and other professionals. Only a block back from the Thames as well. Just loved the area. The hotel had the best feeling of calm and in all of my years of travelling I now have a new favourite in London. Great toiletry products, beautifully decorated, quiet for sleeping in a great size room in a really comfort bed. A lovely,courtyard to sit in as well.The restaurant was fabulous and all of the staff were wonderful. Kept hoping my flight would be cancelled so I would have to spend another night. Love it

very friendly, helpful staff. They choice and quality of breakfast was excellent. Ideal location for walking around London site seeing.
Because it is built on different levels between different parts of the building it was a bit difficult to get to room with suitcases without stairs at some point. Not easy if you are elderly or infirm.

This hotel is in an excellent location that is walkable to many attractions in london. More importantly, everything in that area feels quite safe. And the rooms are large/spacious... which can be a bit rare in london.
The first night, we were hot because the AC unit wasn't cooling properly. They moved us for the remaining nights and the 2nd room was much better. However, the new room didn't get super-cold... which makes me wonder how comfortable these rooms would be during the summer. I would certainly book here again in the fall/winter/spring but likely will consider another hotel if my stay was during the summer.
A reggeli egész jó volt, a szoba is. A környék is jó volt . Tömegközlekedés szempontjából a busz volt közel, de azért használtunk Metrot is, ami kissé távolabb volt, de az sem volt vészes.
Korán érkeztünk, de ott lehetett hagyni a csomagokat megörzésre. Majd délután 4 körül mentünk vissza a szállodába, de még NEM volt kész a szoba!!! Bő fél órát kellett várni, ez nagyon idegesítő volt, nagyon rosszul esett, mert fáradtak voltunk. És nem, nem segített az, hogy a bárban kaptunk két üdítő italt.
A másik (bár ez szerintem angol "betegség" lehet). Nem volt a szállodának konnektor átalakítója. Arany áron kellett venni többet is, hiszen az elektromos eszközeinket használni kellett. Ez is rossz érzéssel töltött el, hiszen akár bérbe is adhatnának (ezek soha nem romlanak el).

Struttura non adeguata al costo (e non adatta a persone disabili in quanto l'ascensore non porta al piano ma occorre fare dei gradini aggiuntivi; mi sono dovuto portare i bagagli da solo); Camera piccola e non adeguata al costo (addiruttura il lavandino era ostruito, materasso troppo duro); 2 camomille per mia moglie le ho doute portare io in stanza e chiedere di cambiare la tazza e la teiera il giorno successivo perché non avevano ripulito bene la stanza. Minibar vuoto. Bicchieri per l'acqua sporchi. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere un paio di ciabatte in più perchè mancanti. La scelta della colazione non adeguata al costo (non era possibile neanche avere una spremuta fresca di arance e c'era poca scelta per chi non ama le uova, oltretutto con sovrapprezzo).

I specifically requested a quiet room. I was told that I was being upgraded and was given a room right on Fleet Street. Terrible traffic noise. I think 20% of the rooms have this problem.
