Not our first stay here, but the first time with the family of 12 in 3 apartments. Very spacious and light, TV with multiple BBC and ITV channels. Wide range of hot and cold offerings at breakfast to suit all tastes, with omelettes made to order, and a super range of fresh pastries. Pools cleaned each early morning, and very clear, comfortable sunbeds, good pool towels from Reception. Staff always smiling and helpful, most notably Divya, Maira and Falou in Reception, and the hard-working Miguel and Alejandro keeping people happy in the bar. With this being our 5th stay over the years, and now just in our 70's, I'm not sure how many more stays we will make unless we all come as a big family again, very likely as we all enjoyed it so much. P.S. large inflatables (rings, lilos) are not allowed in the pools, with lifeguards on duty until early evening, so save your money at the shops. I would mainly describe it as a young family hotel rather than couples, and they have a quiet area with its own pool for smaller children.
Reception on Arrival
Check-in was quick and efficient. You can collect towels free of charge on arrival, although there is a €1 charge per towel if you want to exchange them during your stay. Safety deposit boxes are available for €2.50 per day.
Rooms
The rooms are very spacious, with a separate kitchen, equipped with plates, a kettle, a standard-sized fridge and a two-ring hob. If you need any additional kitchen equipment, reception may be able to provide it.
Air con was good and some rooms also had ceiling fans.
The bedroom had plenty of wardrobe space and shelves, making it easy to unpack. The lounge area was also spacious and contained the pull-out sofa bed. The bathroom was a great size, with two sinks and a walk-in shower (no bath). At busier times of the day, the hot water and water pressure could be inconsistent.
The balcony was another good size, although there isn't a drying rack or clothes airer provided. We bought a small fold-up travel airer, which came in handy.
Dining
We stayed on an all-inclusive basis.
Breakfast offered the usual selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, cold meats, bacon, eggs, sausages, pancakes, waffles, croissants, toast and other continental-style options.
Lunch and dinner had a smaller selection than some larger resorts and could become a little repetitive over the week. However, there was generally something for everyone, including salads, meat, fish, children's favourites, bread, fruit, cakes and ice cream. And the food was good quality. Pork featured on the menu quite frequently.
The dining room was spacious, and drinks were self-service, including tea, coffee, soft drinks, beer and wine. The staff worked incredibly hard to clear tables quickly, so finding a seat was rarely an issue.
Pool Area
There are three pools: a large main pool, a smaller pool and a jacuzzi-style pool. There were plenty of sunbeds available, although, as with many hotels, some guests reserved them early, so availability varied.
The pool area could do with some maintenance. There were quite a few missing or damaged tiles around the pools, and unfortunately a few guests cut their toes, so this is something that would benefit from being repaired.
The pool bar serves drinks throughout the day (all-inclusive guests need to show their wristband/card). At busy times there could be queues, especially when only one or two staff members were serving, but the service itself was generally quick. Snacks were available mid-afternoon, although they didn't really appeal to us. The sunbeds themselves were comfortable.
Location
The hotel is in a quieter area. It's around a 10-minute walk to the nearest shops, approximately 20 minutes to Playa Bastián, and around 30 minutes to Playa de las Cucharas, the main beach. If being close to the beach and midnight resort is important, the location may not be ideal.
Taxis cost around €5 to the main area (single trip)
Costa Teguise was very windy during our stay, although much of the Canary Islands experienced similar weather at the time. Despite the breeze, it remained very warm with a high UV index, so sunscreen is essential, even on cloudy days.
Kids' Club & Entertainment
We didn't use the kids' club, but there was an animation team and a mini disco. There were activities during the day, although we found them a little less frequent and energetic compared with some other family hotels we've stayed in.
Evening entertainment was enjoyable but varied in quality. The magician and the flamenco show were the highlights for us, while some of the other acts didn't seem to keep the children particularly engaged.
Hotel Facilities
The hotel has some good facilities, including a spa (available at an extra cost) and paddle and tennis courts, which we enjoyed using.
Some areas of the hotel are beginning to look a little tired and would benefit from some refurbishment. This was most noticeable around the pool and on some of the apartment doors, which could do with repainting.
Overall
Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The spacious rooms, hardworking staff and good facilities made for an enjoyable holiday. While the hotel could benefit from some maintenance and the location wasn't quite right for us, it still offers good value for money. Personally, I probably wouldn't return, mainly because I'd prefer to stay closer to the beach and the main resort area.
Good Point Nice hotel rooms comfortable and clean .
Bad points Not enough resturant and bar staff people clearing tables themselves to sit down to eat, 1 member of bar staff queue a mile long , not all inclusive 1 bottle of water for 3 people fot 11 days although they did have water stations by pool and in resturant.
Says for families we took a 6 year old only daily activities now and again mainly arobics or water volleyball , chils disco 8 til 8.30 nightly same songs every night , Pool could do with refubishing in as tiles coming off
I am currently here now and I seriously cannot fault the hotel. The rooms are amazing I cannot believe how big they are. Spotlessly clean and cleaners come in everyday. Food is delicious. Good choices at all meal times. Always some food on the go from breakfast through to evening meal.
Mini disco if you have kids at a reasonable time 8.30pm I have stayed in a lot of places where this starts at 9.30 which for a lot of kids is too late .
Drinks and cocktails all good.
Would highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely return.
Just returned from and 11 night stay, firstly I want to say after reading some of the reviews before travelling , I was really worried about going as hygiene was mentioned repeatedly, however we did not have any issues with our room, it was cleaned daily and towels were changed as requested (leave them on the floor jn the bathroom and they will change them)
Restaurant- The staff are amazing 👏 even when some people think being on holiday means they can just leave your mess, like would you do that at home? No, so pick up after yourselves and your kids! I have two of my own.
Food, 6 of us travelled and we always found something to eat, yes some days better than others and breakfast was great!
Pools- Yes they needs resurfacing (management need tonplan for winter months to complete), but they were cleaned daily.
Management- You need to become part of the operational staff at peak times, no good walking around checking this and that, the staff work incredibly hard and just because you are managers it doesn't mean sit in offices and walk around checking others. Also get some blue lights to catch flies in the restaurant, flies will go there as there is food, but the lights are a basic for restaurants.
Finally, I've stayed in better 4 star all inclusive, but I've also stayed in worse.
Excelent!! We just arrive yesterday, Friday 24th July from Vitalclass hotel, and we had a great holidays. The animation Team was great, our kids enjoyed a lot the mini club time, and specially the Mini Disco every nights.
The rooms are very spacious, nice, and modern.
The food was variety and tasty, we loved.
The kids’ swimming pool was great!! Kids had a lot of fun there!!
We are really thinking about to come back next summer.
TODO
We have just arrived back from a week stay at this hotel to the minute we arrived to the minute we left it was not great staff are very rude rooms are not clean at all we had to contact jet 2 as our room was horrible no air conditioning we was all inclusive 10pm is the cut of line after that time you have to pay for your drinks even if it’s not alcohol also the food was poor and most of the time meat wasn’t cooked correct you also had to pay for ice creams for the kids which is dissapointing the was no daytime entertainment for children of any age and the kids entertainment of a night time was music awful to say this is a family resort and sold to you as 4 star it is not a four star Lanzarote it’s self is a beautiful place but this hotel is not for family’s we did find a lovely place outside of the hotel to eat but definitely will not be returning here
Recently returned from a 10night all inclusive holiday with my husband & 2 daughters (7&11)
Location was ok. Needed to walk approx 15 mins to a shop, which was fine for us however the hotel provided a free taxi service twice a day to the beach which was central to shops bars restaurants etc and only 4e for return taxi.
All staff very friendly an work so so hard long hours in extreme heat.
Food was amazing especially for all inclusive. Breakfast was repetitive but good. Dairy alternative milks, yoghurt. Lunch & dinner Lots of variety. Soups, breads, salads. Plenty of veg and potato choices. Rice/paela dishes. Lasagne, kebabs, fish, tacos, steaks. Some food cooked infront of u.
Lots of drink choices alcoholic & non.
Hotel is very clean. Our room was huge. Sitting room with sofa bed, table and 4 chairs, 2 dressing tables. Kitchen was basic but we only needed the fridge. Bathroom was large with Double sink and walk in shower. Double bedroom was very spacious with 2 double wardrobes.
We had a massive balcony, triple the size of any had before, with table an 4 chairs. Our room was cleaned daily and towels replenished. No bedbugs. No cockroaches. Aircon in the room wasnt great but there was a ceiling fan in each room which was a lifesaver.
3 pools were kept clean. Staff cleaning at 7am. Yes ther is a green rim on the tiles but this is the suncream, its cleaned every morming and reappears throughout rhe day. Please note after buying 2 large floaties for 50e we were told no floaties apart from small rings were allowed in any of the pools. I highlighted this should have been communicated when checking in and given pool times etc esp when staying with children whom love pool floaties! The odd cracked tile in each pool wud need repairing as a few people cut ther toes.
Pool bar was open til 6pm with snacks an hot food too.
Lovely atmosphere in the hotel, relaxing, not noisy despite music playing by the pool. Plenty of sun lounges which all seemed new.
Entertainment let the hotel down. The best was the magician, saxophone player and the karaoke night. Kids mini disco was repetitive music an dances every night but the staff where amazing with the kids.
Terribly hot in the restaurant and in the bar, where the Entertainment was held. A gorgeous open area outside which would be an ideal place to have the Entertainment.
No lift and no shop on site.
Huge well equipped gym used daily.
Washing machine (€4) & dryer (€3) available. I Used the washer an had all my laundry done coming home to put away! Game changer!!!
15min walk to water park!
If this hotel could be moved closer to the beach an shops with better entertainment i would give it 5*.
Good hotel. The aircon con is the only thing that lets it down.
My visit to VISTAROACHSPA
Rooms are basic décor in need of a refresh. Air con doesn’t work in any of the rooms making sleeping difficult.
I had to get housekeeping to spray the rooms after more than one visit of a cockroach with 24 hours of arrival. But I guess it’s one of those things? Nope, the cockroaches were also present in the massage room! Although I must admit this one had clearly had a long day and was on its back lifeless.
Double Beds - feels like Concrete
Shower .- hot water good power
Kitchenette - Clean but didn’t use it
Food - Basic but as with most AI you can find something to suit your dietary needs. There is currently 1/2 working microwaves in the dining area if it is you prefer to not have your buffet food Luke warm.
Massage - 1 hour deep tissue was worth the price it despite the presence of Mr Roach.
But if a ticket to use the spa is also not worth it. Steam room wasn’t working and facilities were dated.
Haman spa treatment was not available.
Best bits: The beach, shop’s restaurants. So basically anywhere hut the hotel.
The sun was hot and the drinks numbed the thought of a cockroach in my room a night.
I most certainly won’t return here.
Will not be returning Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The hotel is in a very secluded location with very little nearby, so you're largely dependent on the hotel for food and facilities. You can walk into the centre, but it takes around 30 minutes, or you can get a taxi for approximately €5.
The food was one of the biggest letdowns. There was very little variety, and the quality was poor, making mealtimes repetitive and unenjoyable.
Another major issue was the air conditioning. It wasn't working properly throughout most of the hotel. Although it was functioning in our room, it barely cooled the space, and the temperature stayed around 26–28°C, which made it uncomfortable, especially at night.
Cleanliness also fell below expectations. The hotel didn't feel well maintained, and the towels were old, worn, and frayed, giving the impression that they should have been replaced long ago.
Overall, this hotel did not meet the standard we expected, and I wouldn't choose to stay here again. This definitely should not be a 4* hotel.
Bagno schiuma e shampoo mai arrivati in stanza.
