So central!
Pros:

Lovely room and bathroom right in the heart of the village. Beautifully furnished. We took the advice given and left car up in the village car park and very glad we did not drive down into the main centre as it’s very tight. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the morning. So central.

Great location, staff were friendly and efficient, room was clean and well equipped.
Pros:

Location is great, right in the heart of Port Isaac.

Cons:

The room felt cramped but that is only to be expected when you are in such an old building. It’s entirely to don with the addition of the on suite but it was a small price to pay.

Tolle Lage in einem tollen Ort
Pros:

Lovely stay in a beautiful location, despite a couple of minor inconveniences
Pros:

Really central location to walk around Port Isaac and explore where Doc Martin was filmed. The view from our room was lovely and we had a sea breeze that keep us comfortable on a hot summers day. The room was clean

Cons:

Being in the centre of all the action made for a late night due to a street performance keeping us from sleeping until very late. The room was tiny with the smallest shower I’ve ever seen. There was very limited patchy internet connection

Staff were a real asset to the place. Wi-Fi abysmal. View of rubbish store was a real eyesore & smell of chip day il
Pros:

View could be lovely if it wasn’t for the rubbish!
Staff very helpful and accommodating

Cons:

Wi-Fi awful. Failed to work for most of the time we were there.
View of rotting rubbish from the balcony not great and constant smell of chipfst

Great location and Venue. Beautiful room.
Pros:

The location and the property /room were lovely. Breakfast great. Beautiful old building. Great set up. Useful that we could come and go, even when the establishment was closed. Useful station to pick up necessities such as tea, coffee, toilet roll without asking. Staff friendly and accommodating. Lovely and clean and the layout of the room The Snug was great. Think it may be nice to have more storage though, such as another wardrobe, as tiny for three adults.

Cons:

The lunch and evening menu was basic. But I suppose they get extremely busy during high season, so may be the reason.
The tv didn’t work in our room and quite a few of the plug sockets were not working. Drawer handles broken. Would have liked to have been able to have a cappuccino, latte etc with breakfast without having to paying extra (especially looking at the cost of our stay).
Only minor things though and hopefully we will visit again.

The staff deserves all the credit for making this property a 5 star experience.
Pros:

I arrived early due to a hiking injury and the staff was so very accommodating. They got my room ready earlier than was promised and the staff helped me with my bag up the narrow stairs. In particular, Rachael, the manger, was very friendly, professional and accommodating.

Cons:

Nothing- it was a perfect holiday.

Bra overnatting midt i Port Isaac. Passer fint om du kommer til fots via kyststien.
Pros:

Bra rom og seng. Behagelig temperatur. Gode gardiner til å trekke for. Hyggelige lyder av liv utenfor, men ikke sjenerende. Er godt sted å være.
