Pros:

The place was clean nothing to much for the staff . Asked for extra tea and milk no problem got a complimentary up grade from single to double. Love the place everywhere is in ready reach even at my age it's only a 12 minute walk to the train station.and Asda and 5 mins to Middleton grange shopping centre

Cons:

If your of a certain age the top of the house is a bit of a stretch after a few drinks .

Unacceptably dirty hotel. Helpfulness of staff, cheapness and location do not counterbalance.
Pros:

Staff friendly and helpful

Cons:

This hotel has poor reviews and is inexpensive so I didn't expect much. The location is handy, but the cleanliness of the room was far below any possible expectation. The room had a serious bedbug infestation, and bedding and towels were stained. There were streaks on windows and walls, and what look like cigarette burns on furniture. Bedbugs were mentioned to staff so hopefully actioned.

Disgraceful behaviour
Pros:

❌ Disgraceful Service – Kept £350 From Elderly Parents With Memory IssuesI am absolutely appalled by how this hotel treated my elderly parents, who both suffer from memory issues. They booked a room for £350, but when they needed to cancel, staff explicitly told them they would receive a full refund. That refund never arrived. The hotel has kept their £350 despite their verbal promise. Taking financial advantage of vulnerable, elderly individuals who have cognitive difficulties is deeply unethical. Do not trust this establishment with your money or your loved ones. They lack basic honesty, empathy, and professional customer care.

I had to leave after an hour as I couldn’t stay there any longer.
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The bed sheets were dirty and the room had an awful smell. There was damage to the cupboard. The towels were dirty and the shower was filthy. The curtain rail didn’t fit and hang properly.

No need even, Raqueem and His Uncle behaviour just disgusting.
Pros:

Id highly recommend people watch their episodes of Four in a Bed before booking this place, it was really disgraceful 😑. And thank the lord I was shown the episode before I book this place for my workers for the next 3 weeks.

Ray Hawkins stay
Pros:

The hotel is under new management and is far improved. There is now an Indian restaurant which is exceptional and good value for money . The staff are attentive and check in and check out is easy . It's £4.50 in a taxi to the station. At 6 in the morning it's cheap

Cons:

The TV signal on the room was poor apart from that . I cannot fault it .
