Could have been better. Staff is lovely but the cleanliness could be better.

The renovated rooms look nice.

Cons:

The cleanliness and disturbances. I entered the washroom to find an old used toilet paper roll hanging. Also the utensils sent for in-room dining were not very clean. This particular room had a door to the adjoining room. I could hear the people in that room and they kept playing music until 3:20 am.

I would recommend it
Pros:

It is a sweet old hotel with a lot of charm and impressive architecture. I loved the old lift. The staff was soo helpful and nice.

Koloniales Hotel mit Renovierungspotential
Pros:

Prinzipiell hätte das Hotel Charme, ist aber leider renovierungsbedürftig. Personal ist freundlich, Bettlaken waren verschmutzt. Lage ist gut. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich ein nettes Cafe.

Cons:

Verschmutzte Bettlaken. Überteuert für was geboten wird.

Pros:

The location of this property is excellent. The hotel is 100+ years old so keep that in mind regarding the facilities and feel. Considering that this is still a family owned property - the upkeep has been excellent. Loved the room as well. Spacious for Mumbai standards.

Cons:

There should be a clarity that harbour rooms do not have lift access. We did manage to change to another room and that room more than met our requirements/expectations.

The breakfast spread could also be a bit larger/diverse.
