A pleasant place to stay in an interesting part of Melbourne.
Pros:

The location of the lodge was good, close to public transport, plenty of restaraunts and other stores, close to the CBD and attractions. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. There was limited on-site parking for guests at a cost, but wasn't applicable to our stay.

Cons:

The lodge is undergoing extensive renovations, this didn't impact our stay much, but due to some areas of the lodge being quite open, we found our room to be very cold. We did have an airconditioner in the room, but it wasn't able to really warm the space.

The place is under renovation and the people are rude and unfriendly, no customer respect. They feel entitled and above the customer.

Perfect for me. Charging my EV was a bonus. Some refurbishment in progress but didn't impact me

Staying on Lygon St was a great location and having the bus stop not far from the hotel was very convienient.
Pros:

Property was central to everywhere we wanted to visit.

Cons:

Although I knew the parking was going to be charged I still didn’t like having to pay $30 a night for parking. This rate should be lowered.

Ongoing construction in adjoining rooms, Iron was damaged and damaged $200 worth of clothes, Panels fallling off in the room. We went out one day and on return our door was wide open.

Mittlerer Standard bei hohen Erwartungen.
Pros:

Das Zimmer war zwar groß, aber die Ausstattung war etwas spartanisch - auf jeden Fall nicht, wie auf den Bildern. Die Küche war funktional, das Bett sehr gut. Auch das Bad war in Ordnung.

Cons:

Das Haus ist sehr eingebaut - der Balkon erfüllt daher keinerlei Zweck. Die Klimaanlage war im Winter kaum in der Lage, das Zimmer aufzuwärmen. Die Lage ist gut erreichbar, die Straße aber recht laut. Die Baustelle im Haus hat wirklich jeden Tag gestört - auch am Wochenende.

Pros:

Location is fantastic, staff lovely, and appreciate being able to check into our room early.

Cons:

The mattress was very uncomfortable, the springs were not just felt but visible. The tap in the kitchen was broken, could still be turned on but would then shoot water sideways out over the cupboard top. There were water stains and mould on the ceiling of the living/bedroom area. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work well so the towels stayed damp and the mirror stayed condensed, also worrying that the linen cupboard with the spare pillows and blankets was in the bathroom.
