The pool is closed daily from Monday 10/8/2026 to Friday 14/8/2026 inclusive.

Hotel needs an upgrade and a good clean
The hotel is in the grounds of the University of Stirling & the location is stunning. It was a perfect overnight stop for us with a 7 minute walk to the parkrun on campus. We also walked to the famous Wallace Monument. The staff were great & the rooms were spotless. Check-out is also at 11 at the weekend.
We felt the rooms need updating & one side of the bed was a little uncomfortable. I assume this is because it’s mainly used for solo travellers & only this side had plug sockets. We had booked two king rooms but were unable to have one of them as it wasn’t dog friendly. The hotel contacted us about this even though I had previously confirmed this over the phone.
Property was fine enough very similar to a travel lodge
Furniture very tired, dust everywhere in reception. Staff didn’t careless. Too busy talking to each other quite rude.
There wasn’t a proper dinning room for dinner& service was abysmal.

Enough parking space
The breakfast was bad. The baked eggs were quite raw. Only a few small tables and a lot round conference tables. There was no ham or cheese for the bread.
Clean, comfortable and attractive room.
The swimming pool was closed during our stay, and this had been one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The price should have reflected the lack of facilities but everything else was great.
Great location in the Central area, lots of parking, use of the swimming pool at odd times during the day, basic but reasonable breakfast. We didn't eat there in the evening. Nice walks around the campus, and about 25 mins walk into the shops and cafes of Bridge of Allen.

Good location. Decor a little tatty in places. Restaurant understaffed.
