Hotel was warm and friendly and reasonably priced. Room was clean and comfortable.
Bathroom in need of some upgrading.
Toilet pan was loose and wooden facings round wash hand basing were water damaged.

Très bon emplacement, personnel tout à fait charmant, que ce soit à l'accueil ou au restaurant, chambre propre et confortable. Parking gratuit juste devant. Petit déjeuner en buffet avec du choix.
Les toilettes sont un peu bas quand on est grand, ainsi que le lit un peu petit.
Le pire a été le réveil vers 5h45 par des bruits de moteurs et de sirène, je crois que cela venait d'une raboteuse de route (road planer) qui a fait le tour du parking et des alentours pendant bien 2 h. J'imagine que nous sommes mal tombés !

Great location, friendly staff.
Understand that the hotel is used as a University spot, but felt to me like the place needs a refresh. My room was 'tired' tv controls didn't work, carpet felt bare. No fault of the staff, place needs some investment.

Very dated and very basic. Breakfast not great but adequate
Pleasant and well equipped room, however, we had a problem with a sweat smell and despite reporting to reception no attempt was made to rectify it
We ended spraying the floor with perfume every day
The property was good with plenty of seating in the lounge area
Food was good value other than desserts
At £7.75 each we expected a well presented plate, instead we had an apple pie that looked as though it was a 99p special from Farm Foods and my ‘profiteroles’ were flat blobs that were probably from the same shop and soggy
After that we bought our own desserts from a decent supermarket and ate them in the room

Breakfast on first day was excellent - I must have timed it wrong on the second day as bacon tray was empty..
Room was clean and everything worked - first day decaff coffee, 2nd day although other items replenished no decaff coffee.
