We had a good night and enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

Great location, good breakfast. Helpful staff. Let us leave the bikes inside for the one night we were there as long as we were gone before the museum opened.

Cons:

The bedroom is small.

Pros:

Obwohl in der Beschreibung nichts von einer Klimaanlage stand hatten sie uns ein mobiles Klimagerät ins Zimmer gestellt .Danke das war super. Das Hotel Frisia in Leer kann von ihnen lernen.

Hotel room and lack of service was not worth the money
Pros:

Very beautiful location in the heart of Hoorn, and the hotel had a decent breakfast.

Cons:

Our key didn’t work on arrival, which meant we couldn’t lock the room, while the bride was getting ready in this room. After help from hotel staff it seemed to be fixed. Later in the evening when the wedding ended we could not get in our room. After having tried for half an hour and couldn’t find or contact any staff, a person from the café nearby tried to help and eventually was able to unlock our room. This meant we were late to the afterparty of my mom’s wedding.
The room is small, very hot and while it had a portable AC, it was leaking and this made the carpet in the room wet, leading to the bottom of the bride’s wedding dress getting wet.
We notified the hotel staff about the issues the following morning, to which they had a defensive attitude. They mentioned that the key does work, and there is an emergency contact in a guide within the hotel room, which was unreachable for us. With no compensation offered, the stay was not worth the money, and caused us to miss a part of the wedding.

Locatie op zich is top en een heel fijn terras voor deur.

Cons:

Kamer iets te benauwd maar het was waarschijnlijk de warmste dag van het jaar. Dus dat zal zeker niet geholpen hebben.

Klein, ook de voorzieningen minimaal.
Pros:

De locatie (tegenover het trouwfeest) en het gebruik van een gevangenis die een nieuwe functie heeft gekregen.

Cons:

Het was code rood qua weer, temperaturen van 37-38-39 graden en geen airco of ventilator op de kamer. In de beschrijving stond wel een ventilator….. Dat is echt geen service. En parkeerplaats voor de auto is erg klein en daar worden ook extra kosten voor gereke.

Leuke locatie met zicht over het water. Prima ontbijt.

Cons:

De kamer had geen airco en zelfs geen waaier. Terwijl de buitentemperatuur 36 graden was. Ook had men niet de kamer donker gelaten waardoor het zonlicht en de warmte volop naar binnen kon komen. Het was 32 graden in de kamer.... 's Nachts hebben we het raam open gedaan maar er was geen hor.....🦟🦟🦟🦟

We vonden het een bijzonder verblijf. Fijn dat het hotel dichtbij het centrum staat

Empfehlenswert für Leute, die mal "besonders" wohnen wollen.
Pros:

Die Location hat eine tolle Lage, innerhalb der Stadt und auch innerhalb Nordhollands. Frühstück war gut , reichhaltig und schmackhaft, mehr als man von "kontinental" erwartet. Zimmer zweckmäßig.

Cons:

Vorschlag habe ich bereits an der Rezeption gelassen, wurde interessiert aufgenommen. Kühlschrank dürfte größer sein, wir hatten Temperaturen von über 30°.

Hôtel très bien situé et original mais au détriment du confort
Pros:

La situation de l’hôtel idéalement placé dans le centre, l’originalité des chambres dans une ancienne prison, le petit déjeuner très bon, la salle de bain avec sa douche à l’italienne

Cons:

L’étroitesse de la chambre, le manque d’air, pas de Clim, chambre étouffante, la télé minuscule, chambre très mal insonorisé on entend les gens parler dans les chambres voisines, le manque de confort mais c’est un peu normal quand on dort dans une prison, mais surtout le prix excessif de la nuit
