A bit of luxury on our long walk!
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had looked after our bags for us as they had been dropped ahead of our arrival. It was great to be able to buy a packed lunch for our walk the next day as the local shop had run out!

Cons:

The heat in the conservatory! Dinner was served in the conservatory which, in usual conditions, I'm sure is lovely. We stayed in a heatwave and the heat was UNBEARABLE. I'm not sure I understand why dinner could not have been served in the breakfast room under such exceptional circumstances, or indeed more tables been made available outside.

It was a lovely relaxing break for my birthday
Pros:

Quiet and relaxing

Cons:

Location and facilities
We were led to believe the sauna wasn’t working which was a pity as I prefer the sauna to my husband’s liking of the steam room

Lovely .. we visited beautiful Angle beach, but didn't have time to visit Freshwater East beach.
Pros:

We were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment which was wonderful.
The pool & facilities there were lovely.

Cons:

The conservatory restaurant was a little chilly for our evening meal. Admittedly it was an awful evening outside with heavy rain & winds & so with it being a conservatory it had the potential of being cooler .

A very enjoyable stay. We will definitely be staying again and recommending Lamphey Court to others.
Pros:

All staff were very friendly.
Room was very clean and spacious.
Lovely evening meal and breakfast.
Pool and spa facilities.

Cons:

Spa did get quite busy. Would have preferred it if steam room and sauna were always accessible rather than on alternate days.

A mixed bag
Pros:

Lovely location. Very spacious room.

Cons:

The room view onto car park and the small bed were a negative for the room. The spa and pool were a massive disappointment 😞. The steam room and the sauna were not working. This was the main reason we selected this hotel.

Beautiful setting and hotel
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful. The drive and scenery up to the hotel set the scene, with birds singing to greet us as we got out of the car. The staff were welcoming and the decor in keeping with the period property. The room was a good size with a nice seating area, tea and coffee facilities and a lovely view of the grounds. We used the pool/hot tub which were of suitable size for those present and I booked an Indian head massage. I highly recommend this and I will be booking this as a day customer in future. The hotel is situated near the glorious freshwater east beach. During the evening there were a number of rooms to sit in, as well as outside, with a bar and board games. Myself and my husband loved our stay (although we didn't sleep much as the bed was too soft for us and the room warm but that is just personal preference).

Cons:

I am vegan and it would have been nice to have had a coffee in the morning. The staff member said the only option was to use the coffee machine which leaves cross contamination from the milky lattes before I used it. This isn't so much a problem for me but it could cause an allergic reaction for those allergic to milk. I am not sure why staff can not warm dairy free milk up in a microwave and make a latte for those that need it as there is oat milk and soya milk available. Other than that, all was great!
