Unfortunately almost nothing. Worst luxury hotel experience!
Terrible experience! Staff badly or not traineed, extremely expensive for what it is. Basic facilities did not work, communication with the hotel was extraordinarily difficult, and the service consistently failed to meet even reasonable expectations — let alone those of a luxury property.
Unfortunately, our stay was deeply disappointing and nowhere near the level of service one would expect from a property carrying the Graff name.
We are Graff jewellery clients and specifically chose this hotel for our honeymoon, expecting the same attention to detail, refinement and exceptional service that we associate with the brand. Instead, from the moment we arrived, almost every aspect of the experience fell short.
We booked the hotel’s best room category for a couple, in large part because it featured a private heated pool. Unfortunately, despite being advertised as heated, the pool was so cold that we were unable to use it even once. We specifically asked the hotel to increase the temperature and were simply told that it could not be made any warmer. For one of the hotel’s top rooms — and considering that the heated private pool is a significant feature of the room — this was extremely disappointing.
Even basic facilities in the room did not function as they should. The shower did not work properly, and the telephone in our lounge did not work at all.
This became a much bigger problem because the lounges are located far from the reception and main hotel areas. With the in-room telephone not working, there was effectively no reliable way to contact the staff. WhatsApp messages frequently went unanswered, and mobile reception from our lounge was also poor.
As a result, every time we needed assistance, I had to repeatedly try calling the hotel from my own international mobile phone.

The whole estate is stunning. Breathtaking views from your lodge deck, sunsets memorable. The staff are just incredible! On hand and ready to help and tend to your every need. The lodges are beautiful, clean and well equipped. The Japanese restaurant is a must! Food outstanding, world class. You won’t be disappointed if you stay at Delaire Graff! Shout out to Brandon for making our stay exceptional!

Amazing location and rooms. The staff really do go above and beyond to ensure guests have a great experience. I hesitate to single out individuals because service was consistently so good, however I am particularly thankful that Brandon went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. All of the serving staff at breakfast and Nick the catering manager were also fantastic.
