Beautiful large room. Very clean and great value. The staff very polite and friendly specially the nice chap on evening reception. The location was perfect. We would recommend it to anyone and will definitely return again

My room was very hot, it was not helped by the weather so not in anyone’s control. But the boy racers driving up and down the road at all hours meant I couldn’t have the windows open and there was no fan.

It's July, a heatwave... and what's turned up to the max? The heating. The radiator thermostat control is broken. There are no free rooms. Apparently another room has complained about this. "I'll check the boiler" comes to nothing. At least they gave me another fan which helped.
Dirty carpet on the staircase.
Seat in the room has crumbs and marks on it. A hair in the bed.
Couldn’t keep window open due to the drag racing until late. Only a fan to cool down the room therefore hot.

Great location the beach and the sea are just across the road, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's a perfect place for a quiet, relaxing getaway for a few days.
My room was in the annex next to the main hotel, which actually worked out really well for me. It was close to the car park, so I could simply step out of the room and be outside straight away.Overall, everything was great. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom could do with a little refurbishment. The air conditioning worked perfectly, there was a modern TV, and the room itself was nice. With a small investment, the décor could be updated to give it a more modern look. Very comfy bed. Nothing to complain, if I'll be back there I will choose this place again :)

It is central to everything in southsheilds on the seafront .The bed was very comfortable with white sheets and bedding .I would stay again if in the area .
We were on the top floor, and
they didn't have a lift, so not good for carrying cases up.the man on the desk offered to carry them up. Would be no good for anyone with walking difficulties .

Location
Seagull nest on roof outside of room window with 3 young seagulls in plus parent. Due to heat we had to sleep with the window open but struggled to get much sleep due to noise from the seagulls. Roof should have netting installed to stop seagulls landing on it/nesting.
Coffee served at breakfast was clearly instant coffee. This is fine for complimentary coffee in the room but for breakfast I would have expected bean to cup or filter coffee as a minimum. Breakfast cheese omelette very bland.
Room was dated with repairs required in bathroom and in need of modernisation which should include insulation of an air conditioning unit.

No air conditioning in the room and it made the sleep quite uncomfortable
