Important information:

Cathedral is undergoing refurbishments work at the rear of the hotel. Works may take place from 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Due to the nature of the building, there are quite a lot of stairs.

The hotel is in a central location in the pedestrianized city center, however, guests are welcome to drive to the hotel's front door for unloading prior to parking.

Parking vouchers for the public car park cost GBP 13 for 24-hours parking.

Baby cots are provided upon request only. They are not guaranteed until confirmed by the hotel.

Please note all our rooms are nonsmoking this also includes the use of e-cigarettes.

Exceptional
Pros:

The location was literally next to the cathedral and central to all the local shops, lots of pu s and eateries.
It's a quirky hotel due to its age but fully functioning, great breakfast.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were all exceptional.

L’accueil du personnel présent. L’emplacement hyper central. Néanmoins difficile d’exprimer l’entièreté des sentiments, le climat étant d’une dimension tellement hors norme, que certains points sont devenus négatifs. Mais inhérents exclusivement en raison de l’excès de température.

地理位置不可能更好了，就在大教堂门口。酒店前台超级热情，帮了我很多忙。酒店有免费的瓶装水提供。

A fine experience at Cathedral Gate Hotel
Pros:

Friendly staff. Courteous, polite and welcoming. My room was peaceful with a partial view of Canterbury Cathedral. The bathroom was beautifully fresh and spotless. I'd definitely stay again.

abbiamo avuto una stanza "lato cattedrale" che in realtà fa vedere le guglie sui tetti ma che per essere raggiunta richiedeva 4 o 5 rampe di scale di legno ripide che passavano addirittura all'esterno sui tetti della struttura e che con la valigia grande è stato davvero difficile da raggiungere, stanza piccolissima con letto miunscolo e materasso basso e scomodo perchè durissimo, un vero incubo. niente ventilatori, abbiamo dormi to con le finestre aperte o saremmo morti dal caldo

Great hotel, with lots of charm.
Pros:

A great little hotel, right next to the cathedral gate, and within walking distance of everything. Had a nice room overlooking the square. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The street can be a little noisy at night, but it didn’t bother me. The hotel provided earplugs, in the room, in case someone needed them.

Pros:
