Fair stay, good value for money
Pros:

The location of Peninsula All-Suite Hotel is great, and the overall value for money was reasonable for what we paid. The price felt fair for the experience and standard provided.

Cons:

The facilities are a bit average and basic. While everything was adequate and met our basic expectations, the property could use a bit of updating to feel more modern.

Pros:

The rooms are very clean.

The boy Ryan at reception is truly kind, friendly, and always helpful. He is truly a strong asset to your hotel.

The only aspects that could be improved are the type of coffee served in the morning, which is not of the best quality, and the breakfast in general. In our opinion, there is an excess of protein options; it would be better to reduce the amount of meat and include more variety, such as rice and vegetables.

We also believe that the excursion booking service could be enhanced. Rather than being tied to a single company, it would be beneficial to adopt a more flexible approach, offering a wider range of options from different providers in order to better tailor and organize guests’ weekly vacation plans.

Week Long Stay in June 2026
Pros:

We were extremely satisfied with the 1BR 2BA room. It was clean, comfortable bed, 2-burner stove, no oven, full fridge, shared large balcony. Can't say enough good things about the staff. Extremely friendly, courteous, and striving to do everything they could to respond to our requests and make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast almost every morning. Used the free shuttle several times to visit V&A Waterfront and go to Table Mtn. Would absolutely return.

Pros:

The location was excellent. Beautiful views. The unit was big and spacious. Very classy. Breakfast was nice. Service by staff was great.

Cons:

The breakfast was lovely however it was the same every day with no variation. Limited options and it would have been nice if there was a bit more variety and halaal options.

Great place to holiday with some suggestions for improvement.
Pros:

Location outstanding. Staff friendly helpful and overall service superb. Rooms clean and serviced everyday. Small suggestions: an airfrier in the kitchen - other timeshare resorts now offer this. Hairdryer in bathroom was useless. A replacement was provided quickly but there was nowhere to plug it in in front of a mirror in any of the 4 rooms! The plugs near to the 2 mirrors took only international and not SA plugs! Some other smaller aspects have aged and deteriorated and need attention.

We will return next year
Pros:

This was an ideal choice for the first 10 nights of our first visit to South Africa. We had a one-bedroom flat, which is smaller than many other options, but ideal if one of us stayed up late watching TV, because the bedroom to totally separate. It was comfortable and cleaned daily. Although the room was at the front and only on the second floor it was quiet enough to sleep with the balcony window open.

My husband was remotely work part of the time and the WiFi was reliable and strong.

The location is ideal with plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, shops and the town's 50-metre lido close-by. The free shuttle service was very useful. This is essentially a timeshare hotel, and on Monday nights there is a free buffet supper and drinks party for guests to meet the senior staff. Both nights we were there we met very interesting people.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. I really can't think of anything to complain about. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
