Would have liked a proper shower in the bathroom rather than the shower in the narrow bath with a curtain.
The bedroom view was not great as overlooked the outside area by the kitchen and noisy when staff arrived early morning.

Access in and around hotel for family’s with small children and buggy’s was difficult

No lifts, less disabled friendly

Room / en-suite backed on to an air extractor which was noisy with food smells. Window had to remain open due to hot weather.

NO AIR-CONDITIONING!! 33 degrees with 2 fans blowing in a loft conversion with 2 young children was dreadful.

It was a slog to get all the way up to our room (family room) with bags and pram.

To get to our room we had to walk via the function room which was hosting a wedding on the Saturday. Just felt intrusive which isn't something you want to feel paying £300 per night.

Short staffed, always waited ages for drinks. One night we waited 40 mins for our drinks!! Cocktails were inconsistent, I ordered the same one but received two different drinks. Espresso martini was the worst I ever tried, I've had better out of a can it was like coffee flavoured water. Staff were advised to lie to us as we were told there was no availability in restaurant as fully booked. When we told them we were hotel guests we were let into an empty seating area and received very poor service. We felt sorry for the young staff who were there trying to hold the place together. It's a shame as the hotel has such potential.

Room cleanliness wasn't up to standard, there were pubic hairs on the floor in bathroom and a nail clipping on the bedside table. The velux windows overhanging my childs bed was covered in dirt and cobwebs and clearly never been cleaned, ever.

We called the hotel prior to arriving to ask if they are showing the England game and were told yes. On the evening we were told they were not. Probably due to staffing.

Mattresses were old and indented. Springs pinging when you moved.

No bottled water in the room, bottles refilled with tap water.

Room was located next to air con unit and very very noisy Disturbed sleep.Reported this to receptionist on check out.

Leider war der Badezimmerboden nicht ganz sauber, Bad in die Jahre gekommen

The room where we had breakfast was extremely hot and I made it uncomfortable staying there for too long. They didn’t cater for children very well, there were no child friendly cups and the menu options for the children could have been a lot better for both dinner and breakfast.

Breakfast was a bit unorganized and service variable depending on the staff. The menu has lots of choice and food was delicious.
Rooms done have AC and were stuffy on a 22C weekend in June. There was a Dyson fan which was a great help but just couldn't keep the room cool. Par for the course on hot days in England!

Das Bad war sehr klein, für große oder breite Menschen nicht zu empfehlen. Ich würde das Hotel sicherlich wieder buchen, allerdings nicht dieses Zimmer, da man hier dauerhaft eine Lüftung brummen hört. Nicht sehr laut, aber ich bin leider sehr geräuschempfindlich...
