An excellent location on the harbour side. Make sure you pay the extra for a view. Very good value.
On a bike tour, they have a secure bike storage area though outside.
Plenty of harbourside dining options nearby, though hotel restaurant also excellent.
A great base to explore this wonderful part of Brittany
Fint ophold
Nice view of the port from the room and the room was clean. The hotel "feels" old though, sound isolation between the rooms not optimal, but not awful. (caution : visit was done in February... off season and during confinment so no restaurant).
Breakfast is simple but good with nice fresh croissant and fresh bread.
I would recommend for a short stay (it is ideally place in town close to all shops / restaurants and walks.)
We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel was ok - it was clean, well located had a big and good sized bathroom with rainforest shower. However, there was a lack of hanging/surface space, so there wasn't really room for 2 peple to put their things.
We had paid extra for a harbour view. If you leaned out of the window, you could just about see the harbour, which the staff claimed constituted a harbour view - not quite how it looks in the pictures!
In August it was hard to control the temperature in the room. The bed was very soft and creaked every time you moved.
The but refers to not getting what we booked which added a lot of stress and worry to the start of our break. Once that was sorted the room we had was excellent. Great views and the private terrace was superb as we expected. Big showers and all very comfy, no air con but not really and issue but a fridge would have been nice. La T-S-M the place is lovely, parking no issue, loads around to see and do great restaurants and beaches nearby and seemed to be mainly French visitors which made things even nicer. Massive market on a Friday.
Double Room (No 5) would be ideal for a single bed - DOUBLE bed is a joke. Bathroom fitments hanging off wall. Bedside shelf hanging off wall so could not place anything on it. Coffee supplied but not milk! Had to get from the bar. Could not leave windows open during the night as person sleeping on that side would be bound to hit their head on the window, as there was just no room to move around. Wi-Fi does not work in the bedroom. Mediocre Wi-Fi service in the restaurant/bar area. Limited free car parking. No check on who was using these free spaces.
Having travelled all over France for 5 weeks, and slept in a VERY hard bed in every single location, it was a lovely surprise to find such a comfortable bed - even more so than the one we have at home. We slept like babies. Lovely décor, beautiful and functional bathroom with large double shower and, again surprisingly, coffee and tea making facilities (although you have to go to restaurant/bar to request jug of milk). The only negative was the lack of surface space. There were no chests of drawers, dressing table, or wardrobe. Just a shelf for the suitcase with a hanging rail above it, and a tiny (about 6 inch x 6 inch) shelf jutting out of the wall either side of the bed. So finding somewhere to put things was challenging. But the room was so nice, and with lovely views of the harbour, we were willing to forgive this. Although had they provided, say, bedside cabinets (there is room to do so), I would have rated room comfort as Excellent and given 5/5.
Very nice location, but room was very small. No air conditioner, so when you leave windows open, you get noise from downstairs restaurant.
