Ein Besuch in diesem Hotel ist empfehlenswert.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön. Bei schönem Wetter ist das ganze Alpen Panorama zu sehen. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war in Ordnung obwohl die Ausstattung schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist. Negativ aufgefallen ist uns dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind. Auch bei normaler Unterhaltung hört man die Zimmernachbarn deutlich.

Pros:

Die Lage mit Aussicht ist unbeschrieblich schön. Das Essen exzellent, der Koch versteht sein Metier.
Alles ist im Belle Epoque Stil - etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Man muss es deswegen lieben.

Der Wellnessbereich ist eines Spa nicht würdig.

Richtiges Grand-Hotel mit fantastischer Aussicht
Pros:

Unfassbar tolle Aussicht! Einzigartig, aus der Junior-Suite mit Balkon (wir bekamen ein Upgrade, danke!) sieht man den Genfersee und die Alpen im Grossformat. Sehr kompetente und nette Mitarbeiterinnen. Zimmer nicht neu, aber sehr gepflegt. Super guter, sicherer Fahrrad-Abstellplatz mit Zubehör wie Luft, Montageständer...

Cons:

Es war Alles gut. Zimmer in altem Grand-Hotel-Stil mit Teppichboden, Kronleuchter etc, was nicht so mein Geschmack ist. Renovieren wäre aber wohl schwer finanzierbar, und es ist völlig in Ordnung so.

Beautiful views but expect less
Pros:

The view is amazing and the history of the hotel is interesting.
Pool is well maintained and their restaurant is gorgeous and the food is good.
Some staff were friendly enough.

Cons:

First they gave me the wrong room and even tho it was stated in the booking that there would be wine or champagneto welcome us there was nothing actually there was just 2 small water bottles for 3 adult guests when I went to reception to ask for more water they didnt have still water i had to go to the bar and pay for water, the room was in desperate need of repairs and maintenance, phone was not working, carpet had stains, there was hair and fingernails inside the bedsheets and worst of all what I thought was black mold in the bottom of the shower curtain.
Going to the bar wasn't welcoming at all, very difficult to get service.. the young man was very welcoming and friendly, the lady on the other hand always gave the impression that we were bothering her and no matter how many times the bell was rang she wouldn't come she was to busy outside talking with a co-worker, when she finally arrived she was clearly annoyed at us and made it clear we weren't welcome, I've had better service in gas stations , there is no need to be a 4star to have decent service.
