Great location as we are couple traveling by motorbike, you can stay at hotel and go discover Highlands with no problem. The hotel has back yard so you can safely park a bike. Property has a BRILLIANT INDIAN RESTAURANT - curry to die for 🙏and little bar , good selection of drinks and very welcoming staff! The Owner fantastic, friendly person-he treats us with free drinks and dessert after dinner when he found out that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary- thank you it was lovely 😍no issues with checking in/out!
All good what you can expect in 3⭐️traditional Scottish hotel with Indian twist!
In central location near shopsetc
Nothing to dislike
Lovely Indian meal in the restaurant in the hotel
The room was lovely and spacious with a great view
The curtain was falling off the rail and the door was off one hinge
Overall the price, we were there to visit the Bracklinn falls so it was a case of sleep and then explore.
It was a wonderfully hot day and the window wouldn’t stay open, we improvised though. The road outside is noisy but was expected.
Mooie omgeving. Lekker eten en drinken in het hotel. Aardige bediening.
Het bed was echt dramatisch. Rolde er gewoon uit omdat de vering/matras 30 jaar geleden vervangen had moeten worden.
Nothing
Hotel very old and tired. First room we were given had towels still on the bathroom floor and bed not made. Got upgraded to a family room which had been cleaned but still felt old and dirty. We ended up checking out.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location of the hotel and how quiet the room was and the ease of access.
A beautiful room with a real wow factor! Very friendly and uncomplicated service – all the necessary information was also available in the room, as well as the option to enjoy a delicious meal downstairs (restaurant area) or simply have a drink (bar in front). Thank you so much for the wonderful stay.
Convenient location
It wasn’t v clean dusty. Room was disappointing, small room not superior, up under eaves. Not v clean - dust on bed side table and light, stains on carpet, ceiling. Broken lampshade. Shower unit broken. Smell of curry permeated throughout from restaurant kitchen on ground floor. Car park only for 2 cars so on street parking.
Ideal location, rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.
There was no breakfast on offer, however the cafe across the roas was handy enough. Car parking facilities weren't great and we had to step over a wire plugged into an electric car to get into the back corridor. Not ideal for my 80 year old mum. Didn't spoil the stay though.
