Absolutely stunning hotel just outside the Medina of Fes. What really stood out was the truly remarkable setting of the hotel itself, but even more so - the lovely service at the Patio area late in the afternoon. We had a wonderful service experience from Chakir who helped us with food, beverage and overall such friendly service. We loved our time at the hotel and really appreciated Chakir and the lovely staff at Palais Faraj
An amazing experience, would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Fez.
Excellent hotel, service was great, especially at the Patio & Pool. Chakir was wonderful too!
Cuisine un peu en dessous
We went in for a drink and snack and had a great time. Chakir waited on us and was very kind.
Luxurious
We really enjoyed the food at the restaurant downstairs in the mini bar. Chakir was our waiter and he even stayed late to accommodate us. The wine from the local Moroccan area was wonderful and the food was great especially the eggplant and the risotto. The The service was wonderful.
Merci.
Quiet and heavenly with small corners to sit and enjoy a tea.
Great bar and restaurant with lively music and a fab view.

The room in our bathroom had a floor waste with a loose metal cap. As there was no shower you had to sit in the bath with a hand held shower head and when the bath emptied a foul sewage smell enveloped the whole room from this floor outlet. I reported it twice and they attempted to fix it, but to no avail. Eventually, I asked to speak with the manager who offered to move us out of the room for our last night, having already spent 3 nights feeling sick with the smell. I told him that I expected some refund on the room charge and he agreed. When it came to check out nothing had been done and the receptionist called him at home, and he offered me 120 MAD or $18 AUD refund. I told him this was an insult. They then said could I leave it with them and they would discuss it with a higher manager and Email me the next day. The did not do this but rather put the full amount through on the my credit card they had a holding amount on. Secondly, I had booked 2 Hamman spa appointmemts with the hotel througj booking.com and received a confirmation. We went to the spa on the day of the booking at 3pm and they told me they didn't have a booking
So I took my phone to the manager and showed him the bookinh confirmation on booking.com. He said they had no room unless we came at 6.30pm. We had to alter our dinner booking to accomodate this and they could not even appologise. I am appalled by this "could not care less" attitude and their audacity to process my credit card for $3040 without me signing.
We went for lunch on tge patio. Food was not good, cold meat was undercooked. When we said that the food was not ok, we wete treated very rudely, told food was fine and that it was cold as the kitchen was upstairs. And we just had to pay, even when we did mot eat it as we wete afraid to get sick from the still raw kebab. Second photo shows what was called a small salad.
Good location, beautiful building. terrible food, no shower only bathtub, no WiFi. There is a lot of noise at night. Not a good rest. This is not luxury is just expensive.
