Pool area and gym super clean.
Checking out so easy.
The staff we encountered during our stay in both the hotel and spa were all so lovely and helpful. The spa and pool were decently sized and didn’t feel too busy at any point during our visit. Our room was spacious with tea & coffee facilities provided. Small issue during breakfast but this was rectified swiftly by staff so no complaints here!
Air conditioning didn’t go very low in our room so it was a little hot overnight even with the window open.
We visited The Malvern for an evening at the end of May to celebrate my birthday.
My sister and I had a lovely time relaxing on loungers by the outdoor pool in the late sunshine and enjoying all the facilities. Elderflower gin cocktails went down a treat!
A highlight was our experience in the bar area of the restaurant. As well as enjoying delicious food, we were delighted by the efficient and attentive service and good humour shown to us by the lovely Ollie. What a great member of staff he is, The Malvern are lucky to have him.
We hope to visit again soon.
Clean with good staff.
Air conditioning in room didn't work. Toilet didn't work
I have visited many times in the past and always loved it. Unfortunately, on each visit the service seems to decline and more facilities appear to be out of order.
On this occasion, the salt room door was missing, one of the foot spas was broken, the indoor pool jets were not working, and only some of the outdoor jets were functioning.
We were also given just one key card between five of us. The spa manager assured us that another would be programmed, but we never received it.
There was only one poolside host on duty, a young girl who was rarely visible. On one occasion, we asked for drinks and she said she would return, but she never did.
Guests were leaving towels on loungers while going for lunch, and the towels remained there untouched even after they returned an hour and a half later.
I also personally raised a query with the spa manager. She told me she needed to check the pricing and would come back to me. She took both my phone number and email address, yet I am still waiting for a response over a week later.
Overall, this was a very disappointing visit. It is sad to see standards slipping so noticeably, and if things continue to deteriorate in this way, we will unfortunately have to look elsewhere in future.
excellent staff
cost per night
The outside spa is a treat but the inner part needs upgrading
The salt scrub and showers were not working and the web pictures must have been taken several years ago as there tiles needed replacing in several areas. The changing rooms are also away from the pool area so you have to walk along the corridor near reception to enter the spa area.
This hotel is just fabulous for adult depressing and relaxation. The vibe is peaceful pool is lovely and warm its so chilling. Staff are mostly helpful been here a few times and its evolved although treatment offers were not as good as previous. Food is aways of a high standard. We were not permitted to sit in the dining area in our gowns like we had for may years which completely spoilt it for us. You go there to chill and chilling for us is nit needing to get dressed for dinner then undressed again. Rooms are lovely although the shower on this occasion didnt run very warm
The spa.
Bed so comfortable
Food amazing
Slightly out of town
Myself & 3 friends had a day spa yesterday. Everything was lovely.....The Elemis facial was superb, the pool (inside & out), spa, food, drinks, staff were all good, perfectly good.
However, the cost of it was expensive in comparison to similar other (high end) day spas I've visited.
I think the Malvern Spa needs a better offering to keep up with some other similarly priced venues.
It was also extremely crowded around the pool area & we couldn't find anywhere to sit.
It was my 3rd visit & I will most probably visit again.
The staff was very friendly, and attentive. .
The Malvern was a spa with rooms rather than a hotel. Not suitable for the tourist or travel weary, . The restaurant was mediocre, overpriced, limited menu and bland food. The rooms were certainly not executive, short on storage space and surface area and lacked adequate power points. The location wax also disappointing, in a industrial estate. Our concern was the
hospitality tray situatied in a cupboard, a fire hazard!
Staff very polite and helpful.
Bedroom too warm overnight. Air-conditioning noisy.
So clean and friendly
