The variety of facilities, specifically for kids.
The facilities were crowded by people with memberships (not from the hotel). Also, the rooms furniture was old and the A/C was not available.
Beautiful hotel and golf courses, all staff are very friendly, very tasty large breakfast included
Food slightly on the pricier side but expected for this kind of establishment, no amenities in the room, you have to speak to reception and get these brought in, but tablet to request these in the room only started working on morning we were leaving, slight inconvenience.
Fantastic service all round, staff would always go above and beyond. Stayed for golf and pro shop service was impeccable! Food was top tier level
Breakfast was good
A lot of variety
Staff are helpful
I had to ask what was included as no one mentioned it. I understand it’s room only or breakfast included but surely when I mention our room number we should be told what we’re allowed etc
Friendly staff, good location
Suite 7: drain was clogged, single windows let through too much noice. Coffee at breakfast was very bland.
Restaurants not open and couldnt eat at lunch time in lunch time area with a baby who was asleep
Spa and gym, lots of facilities
Very hot and air con wasn’t working correctly
Went for a one night stay for a private party. Unfortunately not enough time to use all the facilities on offer, spa etc. Little disappointed with breakfast, on the small side, plates etc. Funny tasting sausage and bacon missed off hubby’s plate. Room in the court yard and was lovely. Private party exceptional ….
Breakfast especially for the money paid to stay
Breakfast very good in Manor House good but staff were not very organised. Need to be smartened up.
Mainly poor service in the Manor restaurant.
Food good but poor organisation
I love the facilities in the hotel. It got multiple swimming pools, games room and even soft play for the kids. The rooms are great-very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is superb, one of the best I have seen in the UK.
The lady at the reception during checkout was surprisingly cold.We asked if we can have a late checkout (since the indoor swimming pool was closed on the day we came in so we wanted the opportunity to use it for couple of hours before checking out). She was very unhelpful and wanted to charge us high rate for staying 2 hours after checkout time.
Most hotels will be very happy to accommodate one or two hours later checkout if they have the availability but she didn't want to even check and responded with immediate blunt decline, which wasn't nice to experience .
Apart from her,the rest of the staff were amazing, kind and helpful.
Very beautiful and clean
Nothing
Lovely facilities and grounds, lots to do for children and adults. Even though it accommodates guests and members, didn’t find any area was too busy or overrun.
The food is underwhelming. The new Indian restaurant was average but prices didn’t reflect this. A lot of dishes also served lukewarm as opposed to hot.
