Staff friendly helpful , breakfast and dinner great choice
Enjoyed our stay as usual we have stayed here before and the fact we returned says everything and we would have no issue staying there again.

Lovely setting, friendly staff, comfortable room
The waterside location is stunning; one of the best views we have ever had from a hotel.
Truthfully, there is nothing to dislike. The staff are charming and helpful. Our heavy rucksacks were carried to the room without having to ask. The dining room is lovely, our meals first class,particularly breakfast which is generous for relatively modest cost.
We were designated the Annex for our stay as we had requested 2 room close together. The rooms were newly refurbished and very modern with outstanding views.
We booked to stay in the hotel but were placed in the Annex beside the hotel which was disappointing. The annex had several steps which we had to brave in storm like conditions to access the bar on an evening. The Annex also had no wi-fi which was important to our son. We were informed on arrival breakfast isn't included either when booking through booking.com so not such good value as we originally thought

Beautiful views.
In bad need of redecorating, very dated. Chips and scuffs everywhere. Mould stained grout in shower and really uncomfortable beds that squeak and ping. Shabby carpets especially on dark stairs .Limp pillows overall no better. than a budget Blackpool b n b and rubbish old broken benches etc dumped at the side of hotel. Needs a cash injection or call it a pub restaurant with rooms not a hotel.
Location was lovely, overlooking the Menai. The breakfast was delicious as was the evening meal. Staff were friendly. We booked a sea view which was beautiful.
The room was dated and needed a refresh. The bed was quite lumpy and uncomfortable. The room and communal areas such as the hallways and stairs need updating/repainting and a good clean.
Wonderful atmosphere, everyone was do friendly and welcoming
Fabulous view across the Menai Strait. Food and staff were great.
