Breakfast was really good and offered two plans, one with a full options. Awesome expresso machine with pods in room. Mini bar that wasn't stuffed so you couldn't add your own choices. Room large by Paris standards, with enough room to walk around the bed. Great choice of pillows. Excellent maid service. Nice balcony with 2 chairs and small table. It looked like someone put a lot of thought into redoing the room for comfort and style. Bathroom was nicely remodeled and spotless.
I visit Paris often and this was a spur of the moment decision to avoid a heat wave in Barcelona, where our 8 night stay was non-refundable. I knew nothing about this hotel except a brief check on the internet. Most places I checked were either full or too expensive, in the Marais Dist. We knew we were taking a chance, but then, we were in PARIS with beautiful weather.
We were very pleasantly surprised.
I'd also like to mention the great sidewalk Cafe across the street on the corner. Friendly, patient, and accommodating with great food. Thank you for your wonderful service while we were there. Pam still talks about your Onion soup, saying its the best in Paris. (She should know)

If I had to list anything that I felt was maybe lacking, I would say its your first impression when entering the front lobby. Maybe its me as I'm older and not "with it", but I didn't understand the lobby decor. it looks like someone tried at a modern style, but failed. Then again, that's soon forgotten.

The hotel staff were all really pleasant and helpful if I needed anything. The breakfast was good, a good selection and nice food.
I was travelling solo, so I loved that there was a 24 hour reception. There is a little communal area in the foyer which is really cute. The location was good as far as access to attractions, however it does feel like it's more on the outskirts of the Marais, but only a 5-10 min walk to get in amongst it.
The rooms were really tired, there was plenty of wear and tear to the room I stayed in, and pretty dated in it's appearance. This would be fine if this was what was shown on the website, however the photos online make the hotel look like it's a much higher standard than what it was. I would say it's a 3 star hotel.
I booked (and paid extra for) a room with a balcony, the balcony was cute, however the doors to the balcony get stuck on the bed, so can't be opened right up and also means that if the doors are already opened, you need to either climb over the bed to access the balcony, or close them before opening them again to get out there. I also couldn't open up the second set of double doors that led out to the little balcony that got the front street view (as opposed to the side street view of the balcony I could access).
I also booked this hotel over others due to it's location, as I was travelling solo so wanted somewhere that felt safe, however there were gangs of men hanging out all day in the side street (that my balcony looked down on), as well as in the side street across the road (that is a well used street for access to and from the hotel).
This hotel was SO loud at night! I think it's on a main road, and the sirens didn't stop all night, and you could hear all of them and all of the street activity.
Great little hotel and got an upgrade. Facilities were great and people very friendly. Close to subway so easy to move about Paris. Walking distance to many tourist spots.
Was on a busy street so some nights, there was road noise. Get on a higher floor. Rooms not huge yet still very comfortable with everything you need.
The hotel was in a great location, just steps from the metro and a fabulous patisserie. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We very much enjoyed our stay.

I liked the balcony and the beautiful view. I also enjoyed the cafes and shops and nearby restaurants. The hotel itself was very architecturally aesthetic and provided extremely clean and generous facilities (Especially the sweets in the lobby) The staff were also very kind and helpful, I was also impressed with the flowers provided per my request by the hotel.
